Girl pages

I scrapped 2 pages at the beginning of last week that I totally forgot to post!! One uses My Mind's Eye new line On Trend 2 and the other uses Dear Lizzy Serendipity!! I'm wondering if the On Trend 2 line wasn't a "big hit" when revealed!?!?! I got most of it from Crafty Steals and then my "local" Pat Catan's has most of the line too!! I really like it, it's perfect for my older girls!!!

Ugh, what a terrible summer day!!!

So hot and so humid and it rained and rained all day long!! I laid in bed all day and read, the kids watched TV and played the Wii all day. The girls were so good and took care of the Scarlett! Taking her out to pee and then playing with her. She spent a lot of the day in my room too on my bed sleeping!!!

The gas company came in the afternoon and shut off our gas - nice (NOT!!) and it was off all day! The girl's made a s'mores brownie dessert thing and we had it after dinner. T came home at about 7:30PM. It was just a blegh day!! I was in bed sleeping by 10:30PM!!

Will I ever wake up to no fighting!?!?!

I finally sent the boys back to their room because they pissed me off so much!! Then once we all got back up we just hung out all morning - the kids watching TV and me in my bed reading. Finally at about 11AM I couldn't take the fighting anymore and sent everyone outside!! Then after lunch I told the kids to get ready to go in the pool! But as I was getting sunscreen on Gman's face I found a deer tick on his cheek right by his ear - amazingly I didn't freak out!!

I had S get my tweezers and I just plucked it out!! Then of course I had to check everyone else for ticks - I didn't find anymore. Then I finished putting sunscreen on everyone and they headed to the pool! About an hour later as I'm relaxing on the deck Gman comes running up and says there is something wrong with the pool - as I round the building I see the "pump" has fallen off/out and water is pouring out of the skimmer! CRAP!!! So I fix that and get soaked in the process!!! The kids got out at almost 3PM because a storm was coming and then it proceeded to rain the rest of the day!! We left the house at about 4PM to run to Wal Mart so R could get a present for her friend Hannah and then we dropped her off at Hannah's house for a sleepover. Then I took the rest of the kids to Mickey's for dinner and then to KMart to get candy because we were headed to the movies. The boys and I saw How To Train Your Dragon 2 and S saw The Fault In Our Stars, by herself! Our movie ended about 45 minutes before hers so the boys and I ran to Dunkin Donuts to get donuts for breakfast and then to McDonald's for drinks. Then back to the mall to wait for S. She was done at about 9:30PM - CJ and Gman had both fallen asleep. We came home and I stuck the boys in bed and now I'm headed to my room to read and then fall asleep!!!

Ugh!!

Ugh even though T is finally back in town he had Mike today so I was by myself once again, I am getting so tired of that!! The kids were driving me nuts and I was at my breaking point by 8:20AM!!! Once the boys were on the bus it wasn't too bad. I got a text from Little man's teacher around noon and it was a picture of Little man playing with the baby chicks!! I told her CJ and I might come and see them and she said anytime!! CJ and I had to be at the Jr. High to pick R up at 1:15PM and then we headed to the high school to get S - they had well check ups at 2PM. The were both health as a horse!

R was 83lbs and 53 inches (4 foot 6 inches). S was 153lbs and 67 inches (5 foot 7 inches). We were done and on our way home around 3PM. I stopped at Sheetzs and got myself a peanut butter banana fluffer nutter and the kids some apple juice and then we made it home! Then at about 3:30PM my mood went totally down hill again and I crawled in my bed and there I stayed for the rest of the day! S (the Saint) made everyone dinner (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage) and even put the boys to bed for me!! God she is great some times!! T didn't get home till LATE!!

Morning routine

- all by myself, it went fairly smoothly! 

Today is CJ's last day of preschool - it's just an outdoor play day! So I dropped him off and then headed back home to put the finishing touches on Gman's snack - dirt pudding flower pots! Then I had to drop those off at the school at 10AM. 

I met Laura in the parking lot and after I headed the snack off to Mrs. Coleman (the kids loved them) Laura and I chatted with Mrs. Bradley for a while and then were finally allowed to head down to A7 to get some stuff we would need for the 3rd grade party tomorrow! We left the school at 11AM so I had to rush home to throw together a lunch for CJ and then rush back into town to his school to be there for photos on the front step at 11:15AM! Once that was done we headed to the Thai restaurant to have lunch for Shari's birthday with Shari, Laura and Cari. Then we came home and chilled for a bit - I worked on laundry - until the kids started coming home. Once the girl's got home we did a mad dash of cleaning for an hour since Jenna was getting off the bus with Little man and we were watching her till 5:45PM for Laura! Once they were home we had snacks and then the kids played downstairs almost the whole time!! The girl's were trying to get ready - they even ironed their clothes and I made pizza for dinner! We started eating and then all piled in the van and left at 5:30PM. I dropped the girl's off at the Jr High, gave Jenna to Laura and then the boys and I headed to Dollar General to get some snacks to eat during the concert! We headed back to the school and hung out in the vestibule till the doors opened and then we sat through the concert (4th & 5th grade band/chorus) just to see S and R sing one song! UGH!! It was almost 9:30PM when we got home! The boys went straight to bed. R finished up some dishes and then her and S showered real quick and went to bed! I baked 2 dozen muffins. Then hit the hay after midnight!

Morning 2 of flying solo,

but again I made and easy lunch and breakfast for the kids! Little man stayed home again today because his fever is still up in the 100's but that didn't last long. Then on a whim I took Gman and CJ's, both of their's was in the 100's too. I think Gman's was even 101, but I just dosed them with Motrin and sent Gman off to school!

Then CJ, Little man and I hopped in the van and headed off to CJ's farm field trip! We got lost and were almost late but I finally figured it out and we got there! It was so hot and so humid and so stinky!!! CJ loved it but I was miserable! Poor Little man stayed in the van the entire time (almost 2 hours). The highlight was that CJ got to see piggies and be the first one to ride a HUGE horse - he actually volunteered first - I was surprised!!! Then we came home and hung out for a bit. Then ran out and got the boys ice cream for Mickey's and a coolatta for me then to Giant Eagle to get my medicine! Then back home and I tried to work on laundry! The kids started coming home and I made pizza for dinner and then grabbed a shower. Then it was time for R and I to her band concert! I had S watch the boys so that I could go by myself. R and I got home about 9PM. Now I just baked a double batch (store bought pouches) of banana muffins for lunches tomorrow and now I'm headed to my bed to read and then fall asleep!!

TGIF!!!

Was up and at them early this morning since I was going it alone! I got the girl's lunches packed and then went and laid back down for just a bit! Once it was time to get up with the boys I went to make them oatmeal and remembered we didn't have any milk - crap! So I had to make them pancakes! Then we all got dressed. I got lunched packed and then once I got Little man and Gman on the bus I took a quick shower and then CJ and I ran to Wal Mart to get a few last minute things for the 3rd grade party! Then I came home and exercised and worked on a few things. Then we had lunch. Finally at 1:45PM CJ and I headed to the school. Jenn showed up we started getting things set up and finished up the goodie bags. Then parent volunteers started showing up at 3PM and while some of them helped a lot of them just stood around! Finally at 3:45PM the 3rd graders came in! We took a head count and dealt with a few students that didn't have permission slips and then we got them divided up into groups and let them eat! Then we started playing the games - we had 4 of the stations in the gym and it was HOT!!! I was running my butt off and I swear I was sweating gallons!! It went by pretty fast and most of the kids were well behaved and all of them had fun! Parents started showing up at about 5PM to pick up kids and then at about 5:20PM there was a stead flow!! Most of the kids were gone by 5:30PM and only a few parents stayed the whole time to clean up. Then Laura, Jenn and I were stuck there till 6:20PM because a parent forgot to pick up their kid, we were calling and leaving messages! Ugh!! Finally we could leave and I had to rush home and unload the van, then S helped me put the back seat back in. We dropped R off at the Jr. High and then I took the kids through McDonald's drive through and then dropped them off back home for S to watch. Then I rushed back to the Jr. High to watch R's talent show. 

It was late starting and we were there till 9PM - I was freaking beat! I came home, ate some Thai food I had T bring home for me and then I went straight to bed!!! It was a long and exhausting day!!

It's Thursday!

So we were up and at them at 6AM this morning and we didn't head back to bed :-( T had to leave for Ohio by 6:30AM and I have so much going on in my life right now I need every spare minute - so I cleaned until the boys got up!! So once I got everyone fed and out the door, CJ and I headed to town to drop him at his school! Then I came back home and Jenn came over and we spent an hour chatting and filling goodie bags. Then I spent the next 45 minutes typing up some lists for the 3rd grade party that I needed to email to Mrs. Bradley and then the last 15 minutes before I left I hurriedly packed a lunch for CJ and I!! Went into town and got CJ and then we headed to Mack Park! We ate lunch with Laura, Chase, Elle, Joshua, Chrissy, Braden, Amy and Alicia - well Chase, Elle, Joshua and CJ ate - the other two went off to play. 

We were there till just after one and then we came home! I sat and typed up the form stating that school district does indeed acknowledge our new PTA and then I called the Administration office to see who I could get to sign it for me and notarize it! I got a quick answer and they were willing to fit me in so CJ and I headed up there! Then we went into East Pike to get some slips from the PTA box and then we came home! The boys got off the bus and then I had to run into the Jr High at 5PM to pick up R. I came home and made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and then me and the boys ran S to the high school for Madrigal's practice at 7PM. Came home and rushed Little man and Gman through their showers, got all 3 boys in their jammies and then back to the high school by 8PM to pick S up! Once home I sent the boys to potty and then put them straight to bed! Then I sat on my office floor watching Youtube videos and making paper plate "paddles" and blowing up (by mouth) 23 balloons for Balloon Badminton tomorrow!! Now I'm writing this and gonna hit the hay! I am whooped!! CJ and I have some running to do in the morning so I'm gonna turn in!!

Ugh today was such a long day!!

It started with my alarm going off at 5AM so that I could have R to the Jr High by 5:45AM to board the bus for Band Fest, she was going to spend all day in Oil City. Then I came back home and climbed in bed and daddy offered to do both morning shifts for me since I had to get up early. Well he lucked out with S and only had to make her breakfast - no lunch because she was going to be at IUP all day for a choir thingy! Then he got back up with the boys and gave them breakfast and started making them lunched! Little man's was easy because he was going on a field trip today to Yellow Creek park! Once everyone was off I sat down and started going through 3rd grade end of the year party stuff and finally decided to fill out the form I need to use the cafeteria! 

As I was in my office my Oriental Trading order showed up and all 120 personalized pencils were spelled wrong!! WTF!!! So I called them and had them reorder the pencils and express them to me - they should be here by Wednesday! Then Callum and I ran out to ship the wrong pencils back and to drop off the form at East Pike! By then it was almost 2:30PM and I rushed home and exercised real quick. Took a shower and then got ready to go to R's concert! Daddy picked S up at the high school at 3:45PM, came home and I left at just a little after 4:00PM! I had almost a 100 mile drive to Oil City ahead of me! It was the worse drive ever - so hilly and curvy!! I made it on time though and got a great seat and the show started at 7PM, the 6th graders did good - but I literally drove 5 hours to listen to R play for maybe 25 minutes! The concert was done by 8PM and R and I were on the road home! I took a different way home so it wasn't quite as bad but it still took us for ever! We got home at about 10:47PM and I went straight to bed! I was beat!!!

Another busy day on tap for me!

We had our normal routine and got all the kids off to school and I got CJ dropped off at preschool! Then I headed to the dollar tree and picked up some stuff for the games for the 3rd grade party! Then I headed to Wal Mart and picked up a few more things that I couldn't finds at the Dollar Tree! Then I rushed to Eat N Park because we were meeting for breakfast for Krista's birthday! One of the girls was late so we were late starting and it kind of sucked. But I was a good girl and ordered whole grain pancakes and turkey sausage - even though they were both really dry! Then I headed and picked up CJ and we came home and had lunch. I worked on a bit of laundry! S texted me to ask if I'd pick her up because she had to bring her mellophone home and I said yes so CJ and I headed to the high school at 2:45PM. Well she couldn't get her horn so it was a wasted trip! Boo! Then once we were back home and everyone was done with school, S made us homemade pizza for dinner! Then it was time for R and I to head to her chorus concert! Of course Gman throw a fit and wanted to come with us and since T was at a meeting and was going to be late I just took him with me so S wouldn't have to deal with him! They sang so good but the highlight of the night was that R played her flute alongside the music teacher in piano for one of the 8th grade vocal ensembles songs!! She did a FABULOUS job!! I was so proud of her!!! She was a shining little star!!!

Gman was good, but it was after 9PM when we were done and we were all tired and a little grumpy! Plus R and I have an early rise time tomorrow!! Boo!!

Wow, who knew that today would turn out like this!!!

All the boys were up early and T was too because he wanted to get to Buggy's before 8AM to drop his keys off and talk to them about his truck! I was up at about 7:30AM and eventually rolled out of bed to get everyone breakfast! Then I started cleaning the kitchen just a bit so I could get the meat browned and in the crock pot for out lunch of tacos!! Well at some point during that time my mom was being super mean to Grant! Hitting him and pinning him down, I kept walking into the living room to check on them and hoped that it would cause her to stop! Well at one point I walked in there and she had him between her legs with both her legs on top of him, squished against her chest with her hands over his nose and mouth! I snapped and finally said something to her - I can't remember everything but I let years of pent up anger/frustration come pouring out! She got pissed and said she was leaving and I said good! Well of course right then my sister shows up and takes her side and they gang up on me - I just brushed off and told them I washed my hands of them - I'm tired of their drama and negativity! I called my dad to give him a heads up and we ended up talking for almost 30 minutes! It was about 11:20 and the kids were hungry so we just ate lunch early and then it was time for me to take R and CJ to their dentist appointments! They both did awesome and have PERFECT teeth!! R got a set of xrays done, but CJ refuses!!! Hahaha!!! We left there at about 1:20PM and headed home and just then Buggy's called and T's truck was done so I loaded him and all the boys in the van and we went and dropped him off! Then I tool the 3 boys for hair cuts and then it was time for home! We just had left over hot dogs for dinner and then I took the kids to Meadows for ice cream! We came home and I crawled in bed and watched Bone's till T came home about 9:30 - 10PM. He brought me Thai food, but it was way to spicy and I couldn't eat it! So here I sit typing this and he is in the living room watching TV. I'm ready for bed though so I'm gonna submit this and then hit the hay!!!

Happy 12th birthday to R!!!

The morning started out just like every other Thursday morning! My packing lunches and getting the kids off to school! Once I got the boys out the door I ran CJ into town to school. Then I needed a little break from my mother so I got breakfast at Taco Bell and then headed into Wal Mart to get paper plates and a few other odds and ends!! Then it was back home to work on cleaning the kitchen and doing laundry! Then it was off to pick up CJ and another little break! I came home and mom was trying to get Grant and Gavin's DS's working and it was just painful! The boys were trying to play with them and she was being a total bitch and just being plain mean to them! It was driving me UP THE WALL!!! I was in the kitchen trying to clean a little and get lunch ready - mac & cheese! Again after lunch it was more of her bitching and moaning and more of me trying to just avoid her!! T called at about 1:30PM, he was in Pittsburgh but his truck had no breaks - it was going to need to be towed home!! The kids started coming home and it was looking like daddy was going to be late and it was just a terrible time! But we had hot dogs and fries for dinner and I had make and iced cupcakes for R's birthday! She opened her present and loved the new Kindle we got her!! Then mom put the boys to bed at about 7:50PM and she was just being a total bitch to them - I felt so bad and I just wanted to run away! So I was thankful when T texted at 8PM for me to come pick him up! I got him and then took him to Burger King for some food and then McDonald's. Then it was home to put our kiddos to bed! My mom was very cool to us and then went to bed shortly after! I was not looking forward to spending two more days with her!

Even busier!

What a busy day!!!! I slept terrible because T is in Chicago and it was bright ans early that my alarm went off!! I make the girl's lunches and then started making 25 salad plate sized pancakes for Gman's Bunny Breakfast that day at school!! I could only make three at a time on the griddle and they were taking forever to cook through that it took me an hour and 30 minutes to make 25 of them! Also through that time I fed the boys waffles and packed their lunches and got them ready! We had to have the pancakes to school by 8:15AM so we had to be ready early and leave early! We got them there in time but as we were leaving school Gman was flopping his head and broke his hat!!! Argh!!! So we hurried home and I tried to fix it, but it wasn't working so I told him he'd just have to be careful well once we got outside I had an idea so I waved the bus on and went in the house and got my scissors, ribbon and tiny attacher. I sat in the van and McGyvered the hat!! Then I headed to school to drop them off!!! Then CJ and I ran to get some groceries to carry us through my mom's visit! We got home at about 10:30AM and mom, Grant and Gavin showed up like 10 minutes later! Ugh, it was a long and awkward day!!! I spent it cleaning up the mess I made in the kitchen and working on laundry! The boys played and had fun. Then all the other kids started coming home! R had try outs for the talent show after school so I had to pick her up at 4PM. Once I got back home we left to go out to eat. Mom treated us to Eat N Park and then we ran to Wal Mart to buy Grant & Gavin 2DS's and some games. Then it was home and we put the kids to bed at about 8PM, it was chaos! They were out of control! Then us girls stayed up till about 11PM, because S was making cupcakes for school the next day. I gave mom the choice to sleep in my bed or S's and she choose S's. S throw a fit because she had to sleep in my bed with me! Ugh! It was a long and fitful nights sleep!!

Friday, I'm in Love!

So this morning started early - 5:45AM since the bus schedule is messed up because of EP being closed all weekend long. Thankfully I packed all the lunches last night so my job was so quick this morning!! Then it was back to bed until the boys got up! Once they were up T fed them and then headed back to bed because again he is still feeling sick! We got them on the bus and then it was time for CJ and I to get ready to head out the door to the dentist. Also T finally got up and got ready because he is heading to Ohio for the whole weekend to work at Marco's! So CJ and I made it into town and picked R up and headed just down the street to the office and it was lock, they were not there!! UGH!! So we piled back in the van and I called them - Dr. L is "away" and we are on the schedule for April 18th, SHIT!!! I messed up!!! *lol* So we quickly took R back to school and we headed to Dollar Tree and JoAnn's! Then we headed home and had a simple lunch (PB&J for CJ and a leftover hamburger for me) and then I spent the rest of the day finishing up week 12 of PL and then working on Gman's album - I'm almost done!! Yippee!!! The kids started coming home and then it was spaghetti and meatballs for dinner. The kids played off and on till almost 9PM when I put the boys to bed! The girls are soon to follow at about 10PM and once I submit this I think I'm gonna head to my bed and maybe paint my nails!!!

TGIF

R woke up sick and with a fever so no school for her today! T brought home Gatorade for her before he left town. I worked on laundry all day - like I did 8 loads of laundry!! T passed his 4th kidney stone. He was suppose to hear from work today about his "promotion" and they didn't call until like 3PM and it was not good news!! The owner wants to interview a few more people!!! UGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! So tired of this company jerking us around!!! So upset for my hubby who works his ass off and just gets pushed aside all the time!!! He had to work late tonight and didn't get home till after 9PM!!!

Ugh, 6AM came early!

We got up and got all our usual stuff done and got the girls off to school. Then I headed back to bed and just laid there - I totally couldn't get back to sleep!! My 2nd alarm finally went off at 7:30AM and I was up and getting dressed since I had to leave the house by 8:25AM. I had to be at East Pike by 8:30AM to help paint faces. The boys came with my and I painted Gman's face first! Then from 8:30AM till 10AM I painted faces. I left to come home and then T left for work!! Soon after CJ and I headed out the door. We stopped at Dollar Tree, Michael's and Giant Eagle then it was off the Eat N Park for lunch! 

Once home I worked on my project life a bit and cleaned up my office. Then I made cupcakes (for Dutch's 43rd birthday) and at 4:30PM Laura and Alyssa came and picked up R - she was going to eat dinner with them, go to Battle of the Faculties and then spend the night!!! I put off dinner for the longest time 1. because I didn't want to make it and 2). because I didn't want to leave the house and spend money on it! I ended up making pizza bagels for Little man, S & me and PB&J for CJ and Gman! Then after dinner I went into my room and read. CJ came in and fell asleep at about 7:20PM. T got home from work at about 8PM - he was sick and in pain from a kidney stone. Little man and Gman were watching a movie and I put them to bed at about 8:30PM. Now I just peed and I'm headed to bed myself because I am beat!!!

So this was a day that sucked!!

As we were getting the boys ready and out the door I was gathering all the towels to wash, I went in the girls room to see if I could find any and I was so disgusted with what I found!! It was a dump, a pig sty just a room filled with filth!! I was so pissed!! So I grabbed two 55 gallon black garbage bags and T and I emptied the whole room!! The only thing we left them was the clothes in their dressers and few clothes that were hung "neatly" in the closet!! They will not be getting their shit back for a very long time!! 

I spent the rest of the day working on a little bit of laundry and also worked on my Christmas album just a bit. Then I laid in bed and watched The Secret Life of the American Teenager - till like 3AM!!!

Guess what

 we had a 2 hour delay today! At least we knew last night at about 7PM so we could turn the alarms off and not have to worry about getting up and then finding out! We didn't do much during the morning, I just tried to keep everyone for getting on mine and each other's nerves! Finally got everyone out the door by 10:30AM and then C and I headed out because we needed to go grocery shopping! We hit Michael's first, but I didn't find anything worth spending my GC on, I did buy him this little Furby finger puppet!! Then we hit Aldi's and by the time we were done there I was STARVING!!!! So we went to McDonald's and ate our little belly's full!! 

C was so hungry he ate every single bite of his happy meal - even the apples!!! Then we hit Wal Mart and finished up our shopping!! We headed home and I unloaded the van and got all the cold/frozen stuff put away!! Then we both vegged for the rest of the day!! It's still super cold out and I spent some time snuggling in my bed reading!! Thankfully S texted me at about 2:50PM and she was on the bus on the way home, her chorus practice was cancelled!! Thank goodness - one less trip out in the cold!! I started dinner a little before 5PM - spaghetti and meatballs - and then once we were done R started getting read for her concert! We left the house at about 6:40PM to head to the Jr High. Her band concert started at 7:30PM and we didn't get out of there till after 9PM!! When we walked outside it had been snowing the whole time!! We headed home and now it's time for BED!!!

Got up today and took Christmas down!

I did the whole big tree by myself while T and S worked on all the knick knacks! Then once I'd drug the tree out on the front porch I swept all the hardwood floors and then vacuumed the rug! Then I took all the pine garland down from the hutch, the shelf and the kitchen window! Then I dusted everything and moved the black bookcase back. I emptied and dusted the bookcase in my office and then S and I moved it to the living room! 

T fed the kids lunch and then we showered and headed out to lunch at the Thai place! It was delicious! I had a yellow curry chicken fried rice! Then we headed to walmart and picked up a few essentials! Once back home T put the turkey in the oven and I put the prints I had gotten in the mail in my project life binder! Then A got dropped off by her dad for a sleep over at 5pm. 5:30pm rolled around and the turkey wasn't done so T ran out and picked up Papa John's pizza. We ate. The girls went down stairs, the boys whined and cried and I tried to read! Finally 8pm came and we put the boys to bed and T and I are now watching Under The Dome! I'm getting super tired though so I'm sure I'll he hitting the hay here very soon!!!

I like Friday!

Man it was such a delightfully lazy day!!! I didn't get out of my jammies at all!! I messed around with my silhouette all day making cards and stuff for my December album and in between worked on folding laundry, putting it away and washing the towels!! C was good all day, even though he had a few moments of being a punk!! The kids came home and we did our activity before dinner - making monogram ornaments!!! They are so cute and took us like 25 minutes!!! 

Then I started dinner - shells with Ragu and turkey meatballs!! Then R loaded her dishwasher quickly and then got ready for her dance!!! I left at about 6:50PM to drop her off - she looked beautiful!!! 

Then it was home again and more vegging!!! Daddy got home about 7:30PM and we gave the boys their treatments and then put them straight to bed!! Then daddy and I laid in the living room watching The Mentalist until he left at about 9:05PM to go pick up R!!! Once he was back home we watched a few more episodes then it was off to bed!!!
