Snow day!!

Today started at 5:30AM with the school calling a 2 hour delay! Then at about 7:30AM they called to say school was closed - so another day off for the kiddos, making this a four day weekend!!! The weather is seriously crappy this morning and I had to go into town at 9AM for Cs parent/teacher conference!! I wasn't going to go but at the very last minute I decided to just suck it up and GO!!! It went great and C is doing so well at school! Then I ran to Mickey's and grabbed a frappe and some pies and then headed home! C is feeling better and even ate some apple sauce today and some toast - but he is still not 100%!! I spent the day working on my Project Life album and on laundry! I also snow blow the driveway and shoveled the steps! UPS was suppose to deliver me something but the bastards didn't show - assholes!!! Then after dinner I folded some laundry and cleaned the livingroom and vacuumed!! At 7PM I started getting the boys showered, I got C in bed and then I got the bigger boys in bed!! Now I'm waiting for daddy to get home (he had to head to Ohio for pizza) and I'm working on updating the blog while I'm listening to some scrapbooking pod casts! Now I'm gonna hit submit and head to my bed and read!!!

Winter sucks!!

Ugh this freaking weather is being a pain in the ass!!! We followed our usual morning routine and I got C to school and then came home and exercise! I went back out to pick him up and the roads are still horrible! 

Once we got in the van C asked to come home and have PB&J! Well by the time I made it home he must have changed his mind because he came straight in the house and went straight into my bed and proceeded to fall asleep! I laid with him and finally decided something must be up so I took his temp - 101.4!!! 

Started giving him tylenol and advil, but he was just miserable all day!!! I got a call at about 1:43PM - the schools were letting out a little early (2PM for S & R and 3:30PM for Little man& Gman) and I was fretting because I was suppose to help from like 4PM to 9PM at the father/daughter banquet - I really didn't want to leave S with all the kids plus a sick C and I didn't want to bring them and a sick C with me. Daddy had to go to New Brighton for pizza so I was worried! Thankfully the weather was so bad that they district made us cancel the banquet - I was relieved!! Then at about 6PM, I decided to head out and shovel the drive way - but it was too much so I thought I'd try and snow blow it, man was it hard!!! I got a little more the half way done and then our neighbor from right across the street came over and helped me finish!!! Daddy came home at about 10PM.

Daddy is still in Ohio,

which means I had a terrible nights sleep!! I think I was woken up every time the furnace kicked on, boo!! I also checked the school website every time I woke up to see if they were going to cancel or give a 2 hour delay! By the time I went to bed, everyone in 2 counties had either cancelled or posted a 2 hour delay except our school!! They left it till like 5 or 5:30AM!!! I know this because I'm pretty sure I checked at 4:30AM and S came into my room at 5:30AM and told me we had a delay!!! Dicks!! So I rolled over and turned my alarm off and I think the next 2 hours were my best sleep of the night!!! We all got up around 7:30AM and I got the girls moving and got their lunched packed. I just gave the kids oatmeal and peanut butter poptarts for breakfast, but they loved it!!

 The girls got on the bus at about 8:50AM and then the boys and I hung out for a while till it was time to get them dressed and ready!! Finally at about 10:30AM their bus came! Then I spent the next 30 minutes shoveling the drive way in case C and I would have to get out! It was cold, even though I broke a sweat and eventually had to take my gloves of, but the sun was shining so bright it hurt my eyes!!! Thankfully the snow was all powdery so it was super easy to shovel!!! C and I spent the whole day in the house. I took the tree down in my office and put it all away. Then I put my two newest cubes together (that have been sitting here for almost a month) and cleaned my office up a bit!! That took almost the whole day until the kids started coming home!! Of course I got a text from S and she had play practice after school till 5PM, so I was going to have to eventually leave the house - BOO!!! But it was a quick trip and as soon as I was home I started getting the pizza ready for dinner! We ate and then hung out for the rest of the night until daddy got home, it was late but I wanted the kids to see him. They all made it except C - he was so tired and fell asleep on my at about 8PM! Then once daddy was home it was bed for everyone including me and him!!!
