30 Days of Thanks: November 30, 2017

So many things to be thankful for on this last day of November. I'm thankful for a husband that is working hard to keep us together. I'm thankful for being a stay at home mom so when my kids need me I'm always there. I'm thankful for friends that work at my kid's schools and can call me when something happens. I'm thankful for modern medicine and it's easy access to us when we need it. I'm thankful for a quick fix (and painless) to G-man's dislocated finger. I'm thankful that when it really matters I can be strong and calm and the voice of reason in sticky situations with my kiddos!

Today I'm thankful for sunny weather and 60 degrees!! I'm thankful to wear t-shirts and flip flops instead of boots and winter coats!!

Today I'm thankful for scheduled 2 hour delays! For a morning spent relaxing instead if rushing before school!

Today I'm thankful for one last day of Thanksgiving break to spend it with my hubby and kids! I'm thankful for grocery shopping with my hubby. I'm thankful for an afternoon and evening spent decorating our tree and house for Christmas!

Today I'm thankful for trips to Ohio. For lunch at Bob Evans with family. For visits with family at my parents house. For an afternoon of my children playing with their cousins!

30 Days of Thanks: November 24, 2017

Today I'm thankful lazy days laying around the house with nothing to do but lay on the couch, nap, watch TV, play on the tablets, and work on scrapbooking! We had a busy morning dropping off Gman at wrestling camp, taking Little man to wrestling practice, taking CJ to practice, picking Little man up, and picking CJ up - all before noon today, but then it was lazy time, lazy time, and more lazy time the whole rest of the day!!!

Today I'm thankful for so many things!! For the birth of my special boy Little man, he's 13 today!!! For a hubby that cooked an entire Thanksgiving dinner because I've been sick. For warm fires. For wonderful kids and for a warm house to live in!!

Today I'm thankful for Thanksgiving break from school!! To spend some time with the kids and to not have to endure the hustle and bustle of the hectic school day!! To sleep in a bit. To laze around a bit. To recharge a bit!

Today I'm thankful for healthy, happy kids! I'm so lucky that my kids are hardly ever sick! It was so awesome when I took CJ to the doctors today for his well check up to learn that he hadn't been to the doctors since Jan 2017!! That's over 10 months!! It was so nice to hear the doctor say, that's almost unheard of, your kids are so lucky and so healthy!! I was so proud of not only my kids but myself too, that's I'm able to keep them so healthy!!!

Today I'm thankful I can lay in bed and listen to my 3 boys, laugh, giggle, and carry on having fun long after I've put them to bed and they should be asleep!

Today I'm thankful for a husband that loves to cook and usually cooks every weekend for us. I'm thankful he loves to cook delicious full course meals and also thankful he likes to clean up after himself!!

Today I'm thankful for a day spent in Greensburgh with hubby and the boys. Thankful for little boys that are happy go lucky and easy to please, at least when it comes to new wrestling shoes. Thankful for lunch on the go from Chick-Fil-A and for an afternoon at the theater watching Thor Ragnarock!

Today I'm thankful for the opportunity to watch R march in our Christmas Kickoff Parade with Hubby and the 3 boys! To watch the boys roast marshmallow, sip hot chocolate, and try to catch all the candy thrown by parade participants!!

Today I'm thankful for the ability to watch my boys do something they love. To watch them wrestle their little hearts out and watch them grow and improve. To see the joy on their faces when they succeed and to see the look of triumph when they have learned from their mistakes!!

Today I'm thankful for Tylenol. I have been feeling under the weather for about a week and it's been pretty miserable! But thankful I have access to medicine that while it's not healing me, it's making it easier for me to manage this stupid cold and being able to get through the day!

Today I'm thankful for a hubby that doesn't mind taking over and picking up the slack while I'm sick! I'm thankful that I can lay in bed all day and just worry about recovering and not have to stress that stuff isn't getting taken care of!!

Today I'm thankful for days off school to spend some much needed family time all together. To not do anything specific, but just to chill together. Eat our meals together. Just have fun being together!!
