No school today for the kids,

which meant no early morning for me, HOORAY!!! In fact everyone had today off, even daddy, he took a personal day because it's our 16th weeding anniversary!! But we couldn't laze around too long because daddy had to drop his car off at Buggy's at 8AM and we had parent teacher conferences starting at 9:20AM.  We saw L's teach, Mrs. H first and she told us how awesome L is doing!! He is smart, kind, helpful and very polite!!! Everyone wants to be Little man's friend!!! He is one of the top students in his class and is just doing OUTSTANDING!!! Then we saw Gman's teacher, Mrs. R and she said all the same things about Gman!! He is smart, kind, helpful and very polite!!! And everyone wants to be his friend!! He is struggling just a bit with his letters (only about 5 of them) and he is struggling a bit with anxiety, but she says she sees that a lot in kindergartners and it's nothing to be too overly concerned about, he will grow and mature in time!! After we were done daddy and I ran and got tons of movies to watch and to Dunkin Donuts to get the kids some treats!! Then we came home and watched movies all day!! It was a great relaxing day!!! So happy to have lived these last 16 years with my baby and I can't wait to see what the next 16 bring us!!!

Nov 8: 30 Days of Thanks

Today is mine and hubby's 14th wedding anniversary!!! I can't believe it's been 14 years....it doesn't feel like we have been together that long and I guess that's a good thing......guess it means I enjoy being with him!!! *lol* I love that man so much...I can't imagine living a minute without him!!! So...............

Today I'm thankful for my wonderful husband and the 14 years god has giving us together!! It's not always been easy and it's not always been smooth but it's always been filled with love and respect and togetherness!! I wouldn't trade him or those years for anything!! I love you baby and I can't wait to spend the next 14 years with you!!!

30 Days of Thanks: Day 7,8 and 9

Getting behind again!!! arrrrrrrrrgh!!!

Day 7:
Today I'm thankful for lazy Sunday mornings: the kids lazying on the couch watching wiggles, hubby in his chair watching movies online and me relaxing in my recliner surfing the net and my scrappy forums!!!

Day 8:
Today I'm thankful for McDonald's Bacon and Cheddar Angus snack Wraps and how they sooth my soul!!!! I'm also thankful that 13 years ago today I married my best friend and my soulmate!! The love of my life...my other half!! I love you sweetheart...you complete me!!!!

Day 9:
Today I'm thankful for my libaray and the fact that they offer ebooks: nothing like browsing books from your comfy recliner, while wearing your jammies and slippers!!! *sigh*
