Weekend musings!

So I had a very busy day yesterday, but thankfully today has been very lazy!! T didn't make it home from Ohio this weekend and we are all very bummed!!! The kids are so sad and were crying, it's hard. I am often at a loss as to what to say to them because sometimes "It's going to be alright", just seems like a lie!!! :(

But Saturday we all sleep in a little and then once I got up we cleaned a bit!! Then I had to drop S off at a friend house at 1PM. So I showered and her and C and I left the house. We went to Giant Eagle to drop off my RX. Then dropped off S. Ran to Tractor Supply to get Scarlett's dog food. Ran to Wal Mart to get stuff. Then back to GE to pick up my RX. Then Micheal's were I found a paper pad of Shimelle's newest line for $5!!! Then it was time to head home!! Got home just in time to pick up the other kids and head to the HS to drop R off!! Then the 3 boys and I had an hour to kill before we needed to be back at the HS. So we headed to the Dollar Tree to get some lunch containers for the girls and then to Dunkin Donuts to have a snack!! While there we had some facetime with daddy!!! It was great to see him and hear him!!!

Then it was back to the HS for the Pee Wee football games. I had to work the concession stand during the 1st game and the boys just kind of ran wild!! Eek!! Then the game was over and I was done, it was time for Little Man's game. Of course Gman fell just before that and scrapped his hip and elbow and was a bear the 1st half of the 2nd game!! But then his friend showed up and he was happier!! We lost like 34 to 0, but Little man had an awesome tackle so that rocked!!! We were there till almost 9PM. Then it was home and straight to bed!!! S texted me a little later and said her friend was going to bring them home after they got home from the Curves game, so I went right to sleep!!!

Then this morning the boys were up kind of early, but they let me lay in bed till a little after 9AM. Then I got up and ate some toast. Filled out some papers for school tomorrow. Updated my planner for the week and then I scrapped a page!!! Then I made some chunky apple muffins (it was the recipe from Friday, but I made them into muffins) for lunches this coming week and then lunch - just PB&J!!! Now I'm tired and need a nap, hahaha!!! Hello Friday!!

In today's news, I got the kids up and made them oatmeal for breakfast then I packed lunches, not just C's but Gman and Little man wanted to pack too!!! Thank goodness I had enough lunch meat and cheese!! So I got them off to school and then I cleaned a bit. Started some towel laundry and then scrapped another page!! This one uses A Boy's Perfect Birthday by Jady Day Studio, L'il Bitty Alpha Beads by Valorie Wibbens, and Date Stamps by Amber Clegg.

Then I cleaned a little more, folded and put away some laundry and then I bakes some apple bread, OMG is it to die for!!! I found the recipe on Pinterest and you can find it here!!! Mine is so much more chunky then the one pictured and I really think that makes it so much better!!! Hahaha!! I think the kids are gonna love having this as a snack today after school!! Now I'm just waiting for the kids to start coming home and then we have football for an hour tonight and then the rest of the night to just chill and hopefully here from Tim!!

More then a month later!!

Hahaha, so much for trying to revive the blog!! I seriously suck!!! But we all know that so moving on....... about two weeks ago I for some reason got the urge to start scrapping again, digital scrapping!!! I last scrapped like (checking online gallery.....) 2 years ago (OMG!!!!), well at least that's the last time I uploaded a page to Sweet Shoppe designs!!! I have been paper scrapping project life style (well I'm about 6 weeks behind), but I have not had the urge to "regular" scrap in a loooooong time!!! I have actually been contemplating starting paper scrapping 12x12, but every time I thought of cutting into paper I would get hives!!! Hahaha!! I don't like the idea of doing a page and then hating it or wishing I'd done it different half way through or at the end!!! So maybe that is why I started getting the digi itch!! So I spent like the last week loading 70 GB of scrapping supplies on my computer and tagging it in ACDSee!! Of course all my supplies are old and I probably deleted 70GB, but I found lots and lots of kits I still loved and could see myself still using!!!

So I finally had time to sit done today and SCRAP!!! It was weird at first and I felt awkward, but about half way through I was like......."oh yeah, I can do this....look at me scrap.....look at me go......"! And here is the page that I came up with!!! I'm not gonna link to any product because I'm almost positive both these designers are retired!!! But I used Smitten by Julie Billingsley and Blanc Stitches by Amy Martin.

So maybe I can really get this blog going again and keep it up to date and interesting!!! We will see!!!

Ugh!!

So I was totally wishing for a 2 hour delay today, but no go! I was so grumpy when my alarm went off and I wanted to stay in BED!!! But I got up and T made pancakes and I packed lunches and then we went back to bed!! Hahaha!!! Second alarm went off at 7:30AM and we got up and went through the same routine to get the boys ready!! I jumped in the shower real quick before I finished up their lunches - believe me it was much needed!! Then we got the boys on the bus and C and I headed off to his school!! Once I dropped him off I headed to Wal Mart to get pull ups because even thought I got C up at 11PM to pee (and he peed), he still woke up wet and I hate washing sheets, to pick up soap, pull ups and milk!! Then I headed home and woeked on laundry and the kid's valentines!! Then I headed out at 11AM to get C. Once I got him picked up we went and picked up daddy to go to Mickey's for our weekly lunch date!! Daddy was just working in town today because he has to go to New Brighton to work pizza. So C and I came back home and he played his DS, I continued laundry and finished Gman and C's valentines!!

Woo Hoo and I started Little man's! Then I started scrapping some project life - trying to catch up. Then came dinner (spaghetti/meatballs), more scrapping and then it was time to shower the boys and get them into bed! Then it was back into the office for more scrapping and then daddy came home at about 9:30PM. Now I'm typing this and once I hit submit I'm headed to my bed to snuggle down under my electric blanket and catch a few zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz's!!!

Well it's finally starting to warm up some,

we finally had a "normal" day of school today. We got the girls fed and their lunches packed and on the bus, then we headed back to bed till about 7:30AM. Then we got up and did it all over again with the boys! As I was waiting outside to get the boys on the bus I noticed my tire was super low again, daddy said he'd meet me at Sheetz to fill it and get me gas, but he locked his keys in his car!! Ugh!! So I took C to school and then he got his keys out and met me at Sheetz, my tire only had 13 lbs of air in it - it's suppose to have like 35 lbs in it!! It must have a slow leak in it, since this is the 2nd time for this to happen, guess I'll have to get it checked out!! Then I had to run to Giant Eagle to pick up my medicine. Then back home where I started working on my December album again finally!! I stopped to pick C up and he guilted me into taking him to McDonald's for lunch again, little turd!! Then it was home where I spent the whole afternoon working on my album again!

Once the kids started coming home I quit and then at about 4:30PM I started dinner, bacon cheddar mac & cheese - it was freaking delicious!! Little man and Gman both ate 3 helpings of it and C ate all of his without complaining once!! After dinner, I made my bed and folded and put away some laundry that was laying around! Then I laid in bed and scrapped a page with Kristin's new kit coming out Saturday. Then I read till daddy came home at 7:30PM. Little man and Gman got their showers and then at 8PM it was off to dreamland for them!! I ate some ice cream, read some more and then I watched an episode of this TV show daddy is watching and now I'm writing this and then hitting the hay!!

Finally, I'm finally feeling better today!!

No more stomach pains, no more nausea and I was able to eat and drink all day long!!! Thank jesus!!! Well it was back to work for daddy today, we were all so sad to see him go!! I started the morning right off with getting my laundry going! I worked on it all day and got all the boy's done, mine done, the whites done and one load of towels! I also got all my Christmas photos edited, uploaded and printed at Wal Mart! I got almost caught up on all my Project life digital scrapping and I got my blog all up to date too!!! The kids played all day! Them making messes and we trying to keep up with cleaning them up or making them clean them up! They did fight for a while and it was driving me nuts - I hate fighting just to fight!!! They played with their nerf guns and their remote control cars - which C promptly broke every single one of the antennas! Ugh!!! I made a quick and easy dinner of mac & cheese, nuggets and fries! Then it was just a battle to control the animals as I waited for bed time! I got the boys to brush their teeth and had them in bed by 8PM!!! They went right to sleep!! Daddy came strolling in at 9:10PM and then when the girls came to see him I sent them right to bed!!! Now he just took a shower and is in the kitchen rummaging for something to eat. I'm writing and as soon as I hit publish I think we are gonna hit the bed, watch a bit of TV and then drift off to dream land!!!
