30 Days of Thanks: November 8, 2017

Today I'm thankful for sun!! After a day of clouds and gloom is was so nice to spend the day with T and have the sun shine in the windows and "warm" us up! Even though we had little spits of snow on and off all day!!!

Back to school!!!

Everyone went back to school today after a nice long 4 day weekend!! I was ready and they were ready!! We woke up to the first snow of the winter season!!! It was so pretty and there wasn't much of it, but the sun glinting off it was magical!!! 

After I dropped C off I ran to Aldi's and Wal Mart to get a few things to tide us over till I could do a proper shopping trip, who know when that will be...I really hate shopping and putting all that crap away!!! After I picked him up we ran to the library to return some books, I had one that was overdue - BOO!!! I picked up three more and then I let him play down stairs for about 45 minutes!!! We came home and had lunch and then I worked on laundry and scrapping all afternoon!!! I got a ton done and I finally got all the clothes from last week put away too!!! I made tacos for dinner and they were YUM!!! Then it was showers for 4 of them and I worked on making granola bars and energy balls!!! Then I read for about 20 minutes before putting them all to bed!! They were beat and I haven't heard a peep out of any of them!!! Daddy came rolling in about 8:30PM and now I'm gonna crawl in my bed and go to sleep!!! I need some snuggling time with my pillow!!!

The Sickies

are running ramped through my house!!! S started last Saturday or Sunday with just the general crud: cough, sneezes and fever. She missed school on Tuesday and Wednesday (they already had Monday off for Columbus Day). She still has the cough but I'm sure it can hang on for weeks!! Then Little Man woke up Wednesday with a high fever, about 101 and by 5PM that night it was up to 104.3 *YIKES* He was so out of it and was really worrying me....I even called the doctors office!! We started him on constant motrin and Tylenol every 3 hours. He spent almost the whole day in bed yesterday. He seems to be a bit better this morning....still just a low grade fever but he is playing!! Of course now R has a fever this morning and is home from school.....I'm sure she'll now be under the weather for a few days!!! So far g-man seems un-phased...let's hope it stays that way!! I'm feeling a bit of a headache and my eyes aer sore but that might just be from lack of sleep and poor sleeping pattern!!! Little c also seems fine, let's really hope he stays that way!!!

In other news it's snowing as I type this!! First snow of the season, it's not much and it's not sticking.....but I sure before long we'll have tons of snow!!! OK enjoy your day!!!
