Girl pages

I scrapped 2 pages at the beginning of last week that I totally forgot to post!! One uses My Mind's Eye new line On Trend 2 and the other uses Dear Lizzy Serendipity!! I'm wondering if the On Trend 2 line wasn't a "big hit" when revealed!?!?! I got most of it from Crafty Steals and then my "local" Pat Catan's has most of the line too!! I really like it, it's perfect for my older girls!!!

Ugh, what a terrible summer day!!!

So hot and so humid and it rained and rained all day long!! I laid in bed all day and read, the kids watched TV and played the Wii all day. The girls were so good and took care of the Scarlett! Taking her out to pee and then playing with her. She spent a lot of the day in my room too on my bed sleeping!!!

The gas company came in the afternoon and shut off our gas - nice (NOT!!) and it was off all day! The girl's made a s'mores brownie dessert thing and we had it after dinner. T came home at about 7:30PM. It was just a blegh day!! I was in bed sleeping by 10:30PM!!

Let's see......

typical summer day in the our house! Mommy slept "late". S made the kid's pancakes for breakfast and made a HUGE mess!!!

The kids were lazy bums. I got up and made a menu and grocery list and then headed out the door to grocery shop! I came home and we put the stuff away and it was 11:30 so I made the kids an early lunch and then we hit the pool!! It was so hot and humid!! The kids came and went and most of them didn't last very long but mommy floated for almost 2 hours!!! I got out at about 2PM and we had a snack and got ready to leave the house for the library! The girl's went up stairs to the teen program and the boys and I hung out downstairs, me reading my kindle and the boys playing trains, on the computers and even reading a bit! Then we hit the Dollar Tree and picked up some more pool noddles and some "surf board" type floaty items. Then I hit JoAnn's and pick up some more clearance ink and then we headed home! The girls and I got dinner ready - Taco Tuesday. Once we ate we all settled down to watch movies or TV. Me in my bedroom. S downstairs and everyone else in the livingroom. Daddy was going to be late so I put the boys to bed and then daddy came home at about 9:30PM. I watched movies until midnight and then hit the hay!!

We spent a bunch of time hanging out today!

T took all the kids out to lunch at Chinese and I stayed home and worked on Gman's album!

He brought me home a banana peanut butter fluffer nutter and bread sticks from Papa John's for lunch!! The kids swam and played outside! I scrapped all day on Gman's album!! Then daddy grilled out burgers and brawts for dinner and they were fabulous!!! Then after dinner he took S outside and showed her how to mow the grass, and she did it all by herself!!! Then before you know it, it was time to put the boys to bed and then I headed there soon after to read and then drift off to dream land!!

So we woke up to cloudy humid weather!

It sucked! S and I had to be in town for a 9:50AM dermatologist appointment - we waited almost 40 minutes to be seen by the physicians assistant for 10 minutes! Ugh!! Come home and we hung out for about an hour and then T decided we should go out to lunch! We hit Eat N Park and I got these cinnamon roll french toast and they weren't that good! I was sad!! 

Then we headed to Giant Eagle to get S's prescription and T dropped me off at Michael's - I got a gray ink pad because I thought it was on sale but it wasn't so I'm going to return it and I bought one off Amazon instead! Then we hit Wal Mart to get my tire fixed - but they refused so T bought a kit and fixed it himself in the parking lot! I got the three boys new swim shirts and both girls got new bathing suits. Then we headed home and the kids played in the pool for over an hour (the water is freezing - it's like 68 degrees!!!) and then we just has PB&J sandwiches for dinner! Tim finished his laundry and packed and then we headed to Bilo to get milk and then DQ were we all got blizzards! Then I came home and read, T left for Ohio and the kids watched TV till I put them (the boys) to bed at 9:30PM. Now the girls are watching TV in the living room and I'm gonna head to my bed and read my library book!

Hooray the last day of school!!!

I didn't get up at 6AM because I didn't have any lunches to pack - it's a half day of school!! I did getup at 7:30AM to get the boys ready and daddy was making 3 different breakfasts - hahahahaha!! Once we got the boys on the bus I cleaned up the kitchen a bit and then CJ and I just hung out! R came home a little after 11AM and then Gman and Little man came home at about 12:15PM and we left for lunch. S wasn't with us because she walked up town. We ate at McDonald's and then headed to the library! 

We got there just a little after 1PM and didn't leave until after 3PM!! We all got books. S finally got a library card. Then we headed back to Mickey's and got ice cream cones. Then we headed home. We just hung out, me reading outside, the boys riding their bikes on the road! Finally at about 5PM S started pizza for dinner! After we ate - daddy came home just a little after 7PM and brought the kids popsicles! Then we played outside for about an hour more and then came in and watched The Lego Movie - we put everyone to bed at about 9:30PM. Then I headed to bed too because I was beat!!

Last day of packing lunched HORRAY!!!

I'm so excited - I figured out that I packed over 700 lunches this school year - holy crap!! When I got up at 6AM I got all four lunches completely done and then headed back to bed! When I got back up at 7:30AM all I had to do was put the boy's stuff in their actually lunch boxes! Once everyone was out the door I cleaned my kitchen and then CJ and I headed out to the library! We parked and put our money in the meter and headed up the door - there was a sign the library was closed they were having an in service day! Boo Boo Boo!! So we headed to GH's and played for just a little bit, it was actually kind of cold! Then we headed home and had roll ups for lunch!! Then the rest of the afternoon was spent just hanging out watching TV and reading! 

Gman's teacher gave all the kids in the class a beach ball with everyone's name on it!! So sweet of her!!

Once the kids came home we needed to drop S off at the KCAC for graduation and then we came home and I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner! Then we played outside till daddy came home! Then I left at about 8PM to head back to the KCAC to pick up S - I was early so I sat there and read! She was done just after 8:30PM and we came home! I climbed in my bed and read until I fell asleep!!

Sunday Fun Day

I think the kids let us "sleep in" till after 9PM!! T got up and made them some cinnamon rolls for breakfast! Then I made a menu and grocery list and then T, the three boys and I went grocery shopping!! We got done just at lunch time so we stopped at Mickey's and got a big mixture of burgers and headed home! Once we were done with lunch we cleaned a bit and did a little laundry and then we headed outside. I just sat and listened to the kids! S had to be at St. Bernard's at 2:15PM so I dropped her off and then came home and continued to sit outside and have a little drink! The kids did nothing but ride their bike up and down the road ALL DAY!!! 

I swear they rode for 7 hours straight! I had to go pick S up at almost 4PM and then when I came home T was grilling steak for dinner! We ate and then went back outside! T mowed. The kids rode bikes and even I got on S's bike and rode a bit - but not long I am way to out of shape for that!! Finally at 7PM we all came in and everyone got bathed! We put the boys to bed and then T and I sat in the living room and I folded towels and he folded his clothes. Then I headed to my office to put the wooden sticks on my photo booth props and snapped a few test photos, I think the kids are gonna love it and they are gonna work out perfectly!! - soon it was bed time!!!

Ugh!!

Ugh even though T is finally back in town he had Mike today so I was by myself once again, I am getting so tired of that!! The kids were driving me nuts and I was at my breaking point by 8:20AM!!! Once the boys were on the bus it wasn't too bad. I got a text from Little man's teacher around noon and it was a picture of Little man playing with the baby chicks!! I told her CJ and I might come and see them and she said anytime!! CJ and I had to be at the Jr. High to pick R up at 1:15PM and then we headed to the high school to get S - they had well check ups at 2PM. The were both health as a horse!

R was 83lbs and 53 inches (4 foot 6 inches). S was 153lbs and 67 inches (5 foot 7 inches). We were done and on our way home around 3PM. I stopped at Sheetzs and got myself a peanut butter banana fluffer nutter and the kids some apple juice and then we made it home! Then at about 3:30PM my mood went totally down hill again and I crawled in my bed and there I stayed for the rest of the day! S (the Saint) made everyone dinner (scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage) and even put the boys to bed for me!! God she is great some times!! T didn't get home till LATE!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Daddy left for Ohio and is going to be there all day through tomorrow! CJ wakes up and he still has a fever of 103.2! I drop S off at Memorial park around 9:30AM for a band performance and then I come home and start switching out the boys winter clothes for summer clothes and I start putting away all the laundry that has accumulated all week!! Picked S back up at 11:45AM and spent the rest of the day doing the clothes! Laura picked me up at about 7PM and we went to The Coney for drinks and to discuss PTA stuff!! We were out till a little after 9PM!!

Morning routine

- all by myself, it went fairly smoothly! 

Today is CJ's last day of preschool - it's just an outdoor play day! So I dropped him off and then headed back home to put the finishing touches on Gman's snack - dirt pudding flower pots! Then I had to drop those off at the school at 10AM. 

I met Laura in the parking lot and after I headed the snack off to Mrs. Coleman (the kids loved them) Laura and I chatted with Mrs. Bradley for a while and then were finally allowed to head down to A7 to get some stuff we would need for the 3rd grade party tomorrow! We left the school at 11AM so I had to rush home to throw together a lunch for CJ and then rush back into town to his school to be there for photos on the front step at 11:15AM! Once that was done we headed to the Thai restaurant to have lunch for Shari's birthday with Shari, Laura and Cari. Then we came home and chilled for a bit - I worked on laundry - until the kids started coming home. Once the girl's got home we did a mad dash of cleaning for an hour since Jenna was getting off the bus with Little man and we were watching her till 5:45PM for Laura! Once they were home we had snacks and then the kids played downstairs almost the whole time!! The girl's were trying to get ready - they even ironed their clothes and I made pizza for dinner! We started eating and then all piled in the van and left at 5:30PM. I dropped the girl's off at the Jr High, gave Jenna to Laura and then the boys and I headed to Dollar General to get some snacks to eat during the concert! We headed back to the school and hung out in the vestibule till the doors opened and then we sat through the concert (4th & 5th grade band/chorus) just to see S and R sing one song! UGH!! It was almost 9:30PM when we got home! The boys went straight to bed. R finished up some dishes and then her and S showered real quick and went to bed! I baked 2 dozen muffins. Then hit the hay after midnight!

Solo today

Woke up and did the morning routine solo today, thankfully I had easy lunches planned and easy breakfasts!! Little man is still running a temp so he's staying home from school today and I'm gonna run him to the doctors as soon as I get Gman on the bus. Speaking of Gman he is so excited, he has a field trip today to Vale Wood Farm - it's a dairy farm. He had so much fun and even got to touch a cow's "gutter" (utter), he described it as feeling squishy and rubbery!! We made it to the doctor's office just before the walk in clinic opened and they were already slammed! Ugh!!! But we didn't have to wait too long. They took a swab of Little man's throat but the strep test came back negative - after talking with him she thinks he might have mono - WTH!!! So if he runs a fever through Wednesday we have to go get blood work!! We came home and chilled the rest of the day! Once S came home I headed up to the track to walk, it was miserable - so hot and humid!!! Then it was home to make spaghetti for dinner. Grab a quick shower and then Gman, CJ and I headed out to S's concert! R stayed home with Little man. We were there till 9:30PM - it was soooooooooo long!! CJ finally fell asleep at about 9PM. The boys were really good though. We came home and I put the 2 boys to bed and then I headed to my room to read for a bit and then fell asleep myself!!!

It's Thursday!

So we were up and at them at 6AM this morning and we didn't head back to bed :-( T had to leave for Ohio by 6:30AM and I have so much going on in my life right now I need every spare minute - so I cleaned until the boys got up!! So once I got everyone fed and out the door, CJ and I headed to town to drop him at his school! Then I came back home and Jenn came over and we spent an hour chatting and filling goodie bags. Then I spent the next 45 minutes typing up some lists for the 3rd grade party that I needed to email to Mrs. Bradley and then the last 15 minutes before I left I hurriedly packed a lunch for CJ and I!! Went into town and got CJ and then we headed to Mack Park! We ate lunch with Laura, Chase, Elle, Joshua, Chrissy, Braden, Amy and Alicia - well Chase, Elle, Joshua and CJ ate - the other two went off to play. 

We were there till just after one and then we came home! I sat and typed up the form stating that school district does indeed acknowledge our new PTA and then I called the Administration office to see who I could get to sign it for me and notarize it! I got a quick answer and they were willing to fit me in so CJ and I headed up there! Then we went into East Pike to get some slips from the PTA box and then we came home! The boys got off the bus and then I had to run into the Jr High at 5PM to pick up R. I came home and made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner and then me and the boys ran S to the high school for Madrigal's practice at 7PM. Came home and rushed Little man and Gman through their showers, got all 3 boys in their jammies and then back to the high school by 8PM to pick S up! Once home I sent the boys to potty and then put them straight to bed! Then I sat on my office floor watching Youtube videos and making paper plate "paddles" and blowing up (by mouth) 23 balloons for Balloon Badminton tomorrow!! Now I'm writing this and gonna hit the hay! I am whooped!! CJ and I have some running to do in the morning so I'm gonna turn in!!

Happy sweet 16th birthday

to my baby girl S!! 

Today started out normal - me packing lunches and T fixing breakfast. Then we both stayed up - me to work on PTA stuff and him to get ready so he could go get blood work. He did make the boys breakfast before he left - pancakes and waffles. I got the 2 boys on the bus and then CJ and I ran to Wal Mart to get cake and icing to make S cupcakes. We came home and I did that then worked on PTA stuff. Then I exercised and grabbed a shower. Make lunch for CJ and me and then finally T came home. I left because I was helping with kindergarten registration at a East Pike from 12:45 to 3PM. I ended up staying till 3:30 and then ran to Bilo to pick up ice cream and pasta salad. Came home and daddy started making dinner - burgers and fries. Just as dinner was ready we realized I forgot to buy buns! So Gman and I ran to Rite Aid real quick to get them. We ate and then enjoyed cupcakes. S and I then left at 7pm to go to her band concert. We were there till almost 9pm. Now I'm laying here waiting to put jeans in the washer when all I want to do is go to bed!

So tired today!

I think yesterday is finally hitting me! So we got up and got all our normal morning stuff done! Got the boys on the bus and then CJ and I headed out! I stopped at East Pike first to drop of my potato soup and then I took CJ to school! Then it was back to a East Pike were I helped set up the teachers luncheon till 11AM. Back into town to get CJ and then to Mickey's for lunch! Then it was so beautiful that we headed to Getty Heights and I let him play for awhile. Then we needed to head home. 

I showered and then decided to check our home phone were I noticed S's dentist office called. They cancelled her appointment! Assholes! I tried calling back but no one would answer so I had to call the high school and they told her I wasn't coming then I promptly called her old dentist and made an appointment there!! I had to head back to East Pike at almost 3pm and pick up my crock pot. Then back home to get the boys off the bus. I made an easy dinner - extra potato soup and chicken nuggets. T finally made it home at like 7:30pm and I was in bed by 8pm and asleep by 8:03PM - I was BEAT!!!!

Ugh today was such a long day!!

It started with my alarm going off at 5AM so that I could have R to the Jr High by 5:45AM to board the bus for Band Fest, she was going to spend all day in Oil City. Then I came back home and climbed in bed and daddy offered to do both morning shifts for me since I had to get up early. Well he lucked out with S and only had to make her breakfast - no lunch because she was going to be at IUP all day for a choir thingy! Then he got back up with the boys and gave them breakfast and started making them lunched! Little man's was easy because he was going on a field trip today to Yellow Creek park! Once everyone was off I sat down and started going through 3rd grade end of the year party stuff and finally decided to fill out the form I need to use the cafeteria! 

As I was in my office my Oriental Trading order showed up and all 120 personalized pencils were spelled wrong!! WTF!!! So I called them and had them reorder the pencils and express them to me - they should be here by Wednesday! Then Callum and I ran out to ship the wrong pencils back and to drop off the form at East Pike! By then it was almost 2:30PM and I rushed home and exercised real quick. Took a shower and then got ready to go to R's concert! Daddy picked S up at the high school at 3:45PM, came home and I left at just a little after 4:00PM! I had almost a 100 mile drive to Oil City ahead of me! It was the worse drive ever - so hilly and curvy!! I made it on time though and got a great seat and the show started at 7PM, the 6th graders did good - but I literally drove 5 hours to listen to R play for maybe 25 minutes! The concert was done by 8PM and R and I were on the road home! I took a different way home so it wasn't quite as bad but it still took us for ever! We got home at about 10:47PM and I went straight to bed! I was beat!!!

Another busy day on tap for me!

We had our normal routine and got all the kids off to school and I got CJ dropped off at preschool! Then I headed to the dollar tree and picked up some stuff for the games for the 3rd grade party! Then I headed to Wal Mart and picked up a few more things that I couldn't finds at the Dollar Tree! Then I rushed to Eat N Park because we were meeting for breakfast for Krista's birthday! One of the girls was late so we were late starting and it kind of sucked. But I was a good girl and ordered whole grain pancakes and turkey sausage - even though they were both really dry! Then I headed and picked up CJ and we came home and had lunch. I worked on a bit of laundry! S texted me to ask if I'd pick her up because she had to bring her mellophone home and I said yes so CJ and I headed to the high school at 2:45PM. Well she couldn't get her horn so it was a wasted trip! Boo! Then once we were back home and everyone was done with school, S made us homemade pizza for dinner! Then it was time for R and I to head to her chorus concert! Of course Gman throw a fit and wanted to come with us and since T was at a meeting and was going to be late I just took him with me so S wouldn't have to deal with him! They sang so good but the highlight of the night was that R played her flute alongside the music teacher in piano for one of the 8th grade vocal ensembles songs!! She did a FABULOUS job!! I was so proud of her!!! She was a shining little star!!!

Gman was good, but it was after 9PM when we were done and we were all tired and a little grumpy! Plus R and I have an early rise time tomorrow!! Boo!!

Is it Friday yet??

Ugh I did not want to get up when my alarm went off this morning - I especially didn't want to make scrambled eggs for the kids lunches! Thank goodness I had some hard boiled eggs in the fridge I just subbed them! I went back to bed and tried to fall back to sleep but it didn't work to well!! So up I got again when my 2nd alarm went off!! Once we got the bigger boys on the bus I took CJ into town to school and then came back home and walked on the treadmill for 45 minutes! Then I photographed my week 16 PL pages and then messed around on youtube for a bit. On the way back into town to pick up CJ, I saw S and her Spanish club walking along Philadelphia street headed to Cozumel's for their lunch "field trip", I was gonna honk but I didn't want to embarrass her!! Once I got CJ picked up we headed to daddy's Indiana store and picked him up for lunch! We went to Mickey's and while we were waiting in line to order the electricity blinked off and on! So we finally got our food and sat and ate. Then we took Daddy back to work and then headed to Wal Mart so I could pick up some yogurt, bananas and lemon bars - the lemon bars are GROSS!! Then once back home I worked on the boys laundry and then catching up on posting my PL pages, my project love me photos and this blog! I made taco's for dinner and then at 7PM Little man and I ran into EP for a band meeting, we were there for an hour and then I dropped him off home and I ran back into town to drop off some stuff for Tim at his Indiana store and then I headed to Mickey's for an ice cream cone!

The new normal.

normal routine this morning but once we were done with the girls daddy stayed up because he had paper work to do! I headed back to bed and when my alarm went off at 7:30AM daddy was heading out the door for work! But he made the boys breakfast and finished packing their lunches for me! After I got Little man and Gman on the bus, CJ and I headed out the door to drop him off at school! Then I came back home and walked on the treadmill for 59 minutes and burned 400 calories!! Woo Hoo. Then it was shower time and then heading back into town to pick him up! We then headed to Wal Mart to pick up some "diet" food for me and then I got him chicken nuggets from Mickey's! I just got a fruit/yogurt parfait since we are going out later this afternoon for lunch at the Thai place! Laura invited us to help celebrate Kristi's belated birthday! So CJ and I made a quick stop at Aldi's and then we headed home to put our cold stuff away! Then it was back out to town for lunch! I had my pineapple fried rice with chicken and it was DELICIOUS!!! Laura, Kristi, Shari, Cindy and another lady I didn't know were there. CJ was so good, the lady cook made him a balloon animal (a poodle) and he played with that most of the time and then the man waiter gave him a piece of candy! It was 2:45PM by the time we were done and we rushed home to let the girl's in, but thankfully S remembered her key! Then it was spaghetti and meatballs for dinner for the kids and a sliced chicken sandwich for me. Then I started watching a movie till I had to leave the house at 6:45PM to take S to Madrigals practice - it was only and hour so I stayed in town and ran to Michael's to get a shirt for Little man and then to Wal Mart to get a few things I forgot earlier today! Now I just ate an ice cream sandwich and now I'm off to bed! Going in the morning to get blood work!!

Even busier!

What a busy day!!!! I slept terrible because T is in Chicago and it was bright ans early that my alarm went off!! I make the girl's lunches and then started making 25 salad plate sized pancakes for Gman's Bunny Breakfast that day at school!! I could only make three at a time on the griddle and they were taking forever to cook through that it took me an hour and 30 minutes to make 25 of them! Also through that time I fed the boys waffles and packed their lunches and got them ready! We had to have the pancakes to school by 8:15AM so we had to be ready early and leave early! We got them there in time but as we were leaving school Gman was flopping his head and broke his hat!!! Argh!!! So we hurried home and I tried to fix it, but it wasn't working so I told him he'd just have to be careful well once we got outside I had an idea so I waved the bus on and went in the house and got my scissors, ribbon and tiny attacher. I sat in the van and McGyvered the hat!! Then I headed to school to drop them off!!! Then CJ and I ran to get some groceries to carry us through my mom's visit! We got home at about 10:30AM and mom, Grant and Gavin showed up like 10 minutes later! Ugh, it was a long and awkward day!!! I spent it cleaning up the mess I made in the kitchen and working on laundry! The boys played and had fun. Then all the other kids started coming home! R had try outs for the talent show after school so I had to pick her up at 4PM. Once I got back home we left to go out to eat. Mom treated us to Eat N Park and then we ran to Wal Mart to buy Grant & Gavin 2DS's and some games. Then it was home and we put the kids to bed at about 8PM, it was chaos! They were out of control! Then us girls stayed up till about 11PM, because S was making cupcakes for school the next day. I gave mom the choice to sleep in my bed or S's and she choose S's. S throw a fit because she had to sleep in my bed with me! Ugh! It was a long and fitful nights sleep!!
