2 hour delay!

Another 2 hour delay today so another day of sleeping in, YAY!!! We were up and moving around 8AM. I got all the lunches packed while T made waffles for breakfast! The girls got off to school and T got off to work and it was just me and the three boys! I farted around in my office cleaning things up and then at 10:30AM it was time to get the boys outside! Got them on the bus and spent the rest of the late morning/early afternoon working on cutting out valentines with my silhouette and working on laundry! Then C and I left the house just before 3PM to head to EP to help with Market Day. 

We were only there about 30 minutes and then we left, I was gonna head to McDonald's to get a frappe but realized half way into town I forgot my phone at the school! Ugh!! Headed back to get it and then just headed home! Got my meatloaf mixed up and in the oven and then laid around a bit and read! Finished up dinner at about 5:30PM. Daddy got home at 6PM and had brought me and him Thai food! I ate about half of it and then at 6:45PM it was time for me and S to head out the door for her band concert! It was nice and she did an awesome job (even if she said it sounded terrible) and we were home by 8:30PM! Now I just got done surfing Pinterest for a hulk cake, emptying my mail box and now I'm headed to bed to read for a bit!! I need to get my cozy on!!

Freezing!!!

We had a 2 hour delay this morning which kind of jacked up the kids schedules since Little man and Gman had dentist appointments at 11AM, so they didn't even get on the bus to go to school at 10:30AM. We just piled in the van and headed into town!! It was so cold out, it was really miserable!!! 

We got in and only waited a little bit past 11AM, once they got back in the chairs it went quick. Both boys had awesome check ups and ZERO cavities!! We got out of there at noon and since Little man had missed lunch and I didn't pack one for Gman I took them through McDonald's drive thru and then headed to their school while they ate! Got them dropped off and then C and I came home. We both just kind of lazed around all afternoon and when the big kids came home they joined us. I made pizza for dinner and it was so good! Then there was more lazying till daddy got about 9:20PM. We put the kids to bed and then we sat down and ate the Thai food he brought home! He also brought me the 4th season of Downton Abbey and I went in my room and watched the 1st show. I wasn't into it as much as I was the other seasons so I went to bed right after that episode! 

Cold weather sucks!!

Ok, seriously this cold weather is getting ridiculous!!! At 8am, it's -9 degrees!!! NEGATIVE NINE!!! 

We had a two hour delay this morning and as much as I liked not getting up early I think I hate the kids hanging around "waiting" even worse!!! But we got the girls fed and lunches packed and out the door. Then the boys hung out fighting till I got them dresses, their lunches packed and them out the door at 10:30AM to catch the bus - we almost missed it because Gman and I were in the laundry room blowing a shit ton of snot out of his nose - I sweat to got it just kept coming and coming!!! I can't imagine where he was hiding it all!! C and I hung out all day just doing nothing and trying to stay warm!!! It was really a totally terrible winter day!!

Guess what

 we had a 2 hour delay today! At least we knew last night at about 7PM so we could turn the alarms off and not have to worry about getting up and then finding out! We didn't do much during the morning, I just tried to keep everyone for getting on mine and each other's nerves! Finally got everyone out the door by 10:30AM and then C and I headed out because we needed to go grocery shopping! We hit Michael's first, but I didn't find anything worth spending my GC on, I did buy him this little Furby finger puppet!! Then we hit Aldi's and by the time we were done there I was STARVING!!!! So we went to McDonald's and ate our little belly's full!! 

C was so hungry he ate every single bite of his happy meal - even the apples!!! Then we hit Wal Mart and finished up our shopping!! We headed home and I unloaded the van and got all the cold/frozen stuff put away!! Then we both vegged for the rest of the day!! It's still super cold out and I spent some time snuggling in my bed reading!! Thankfully S texted me at about 2:50PM and she was on the bus on the way home, her chorus practice was cancelled!! Thank goodness - one less trip out in the cold!! I started dinner a little before 5PM - spaghetti and meatballs - and then once we were done R started getting read for her concert! We left the house at about 6:40PM to head to the Jr High. Her band concert started at 7:30PM and we didn't get out of there till after 9PM!! When we walked outside it had been snowing the whole time!! We headed home and now it's time for BED!!!

Daddy is still in Ohio,

which means I had a terrible nights sleep!! I think I was woken up every time the furnace kicked on, boo!! I also checked the school website every time I woke up to see if they were going to cancel or give a 2 hour delay! By the time I went to bed, everyone in 2 counties had either cancelled or posted a 2 hour delay except our school!! They left it till like 5 or 5:30AM!!! I know this because I'm pretty sure I checked at 4:30AM and S came into my room at 5:30AM and told me we had a delay!!! Dicks!! So I rolled over and turned my alarm off and I think the next 2 hours were my best sleep of the night!!! We all got up around 7:30AM and I got the girls moving and got their lunched packed. I just gave the kids oatmeal and peanut butter poptarts for breakfast, but they loved it!!

 The girls got on the bus at about 8:50AM and then the boys and I hung out for a while till it was time to get them dressed and ready!! Finally at about 10:30AM their bus came! Then I spent the next 30 minutes shoveling the drive way in case C and I would have to get out! It was cold, even though I broke a sweat and eventually had to take my gloves of, but the sun was shining so bright it hurt my eyes!!! Thankfully the snow was all powdery so it was super easy to shovel!!! C and I spent the whole day in the house. I took the tree down in my office and put it all away. Then I put my two newest cubes together (that have been sitting here for almost a month) and cleaned my office up a bit!! That took almost the whole day until the kids started coming home!! Of course I got a text from S and she had play practice after school till 5PM, so I was going to have to eventually leave the house - BOO!!! But it was a quick trip and as soon as I was home I started getting the pizza ready for dinner! We ate and then hung out for the rest of the night until daddy got home, it was late but I wanted the kids to see him. They all made it except C - he was so tired and fell asleep on my at about 8PM! Then once daddy was home it was bed for everyone including me and him!!!
