Zoo Boo 2015

So the kids and I headed to the zoo today for Zoo Boo, it was cold and cloudy but the rain held off so we were so happy!! The girl's didn't dress up but Little man was a werewolf, Gman was a GI Joe guy called Road Block, and CJ was also a GI Joe guy named Snake Eyes.

We had a fun day and the kids had a blast!! It was a fabulous day spent as a family, but we did miss daddy so much!! Here is the comparison from our first Zoo Boo in 2008 and (probably) our last Zoo Boo!!

Pumpkin Carving 2015

Last night after we got hair cuts and ate at Mickey's the boys and I ran to WalMart and they had their pumpkins on sale for $2.49!!! SCORE!!! So we bought 7 of them!!

So today after we cleaned up a bit we set to work carving them!!! The kids had so much fun and I did too!! I was so proud of CJ, he carved 90% of his pumpkin himself!!! Heck even at 7 G-man made me do most of his!!! Here are the finished products!!!

Happy Halloween!!!

It's that wonderful day of the year again when all the spooks and ghost and goblins come out to play!!! Our Halloween started off just like any other school day: getting breakfast and lunches pack and then getting kids off to school. I did it alone though since T has had his boss all week and he was gone early early this morning. Then I got C dropped off at school and had to be back there by 9:30AM to help with their Halloween activities so I had just enough time to run and get some ice tea and change for the meter!! Once back and when I was in his class room I helped paint faces for all the kids: some of the other stuff they did was pumpkin bowling, stamping, ghost throw, play dough table, water table and pumpkin "pounding". C (and his friends) had so much fun!! Then the kids had snack, a store and then it was time to go on the hat parade around the block!! All the kids lined up and we walked up and around the block and then down Philly street: waving at cars and yelling happy halloween!! We stop at Senator White's building and he gave out suckers and the kids got his photo taken with him! Then it was back to school and we were done for the day!!!

C and I headed to Mickey's for our lunch date and then it was home to prepare for our halloween dinner!! I made cupcakes, pudding parfaits, witches brooms. I used my silhouette to put pumpkin faces on everything!! Hahaha!! I then had to pick Sydney up at 4PM and then once home I started the hamburgers!! The kids loved it and I had fun making it festive for them!!

Then daddy got home around 7PM and it was baths and bed!! Daddy and I are headed there too because we are BEAT!! Once more day and then a two day weekend with nothing to do!! Woo Hoo!!!

It's Monday, again!!

Ugh another start to a work/school week had rolled around once again!! I did not like it when my alarm went off this morning, not one bit!!! T and I performed our usual school morning routine, breakfast making and lunch packing (kids took meat/cheese roll ups, energy bites and peaches to school today) and then we headed back to bed for a little bit. For the first time we kind of got up late for our "second shift", the boys didn't come in our room at all this morning and the next thing we knew it was 7:45AM. Eeep!!! Of course then we felt rushed the rest of the morning and I hate that!!! Once everyone left I finished cleaning the kitchen , then grabbed a quick shower and C and I headed out the door to story/craft time at the library (today it was the letters K & Z). Then we headed to Aldi's to pick up beef broth for dinner, but I had to get chicken broth because Aldi's didn't carry a gluten free beef broth (T has gone gluten free in hope to fix some of the things wrong with him), but it tasted fine and he actually said the soup was delicious!!! Then I spent the rest of the afternoon cutting some fall banners and finishing up the treat bags for C's class for Thursday. Then once everyone started coming home it was go go go time!! I had to have R and S to the Jr High at 5PM. Then the 3 boys and I came home and ate dinner (they refused to eat the soup and had chicken nuggets) and then we got ready to go to the Halloween parade, which actually turned out to be a joke!!! Hahaha!! But R had so much fun "marching" in it and was so proud to have marched in her first parade!!

I was super proud of her too!! Then it was done and we came home and got baths/showers. Daddy showed up at about 7:30PM and we put the boys to bed at 8PM and then I wrote this and I'm going to maybe make a grocery list and then I'm hitting the hay - I am beat for some reason!!! I need to post about what I started today but I want to do that in a separate post so look for that!!

Daddy comes home today!!

Woo Hoo!!! So I'm not even gonna bore you with the morning stuff, it's all the same!! Hahaha!! Once I got the 4 bigger kids on the bus and to school I got C dropped off and then I needed to run to Wal Mart to get some essentials, we were out of oatmeal and I actually had to cook eggs this morning (oh the horrors!!)!!! I also made a pit stop at Staples to pick up some book rings for my Halloween albums, speaking of Halloween albums I finished 2008 and got half of 2009 done today!! Woo Hoo!!! Then I picked up C and we headed to Mickey's for our lunch date and then home where I scrapped!! Then just as R was coming home at 3PM...daddy pulled in!!!! We were very happy to see him!! Then L and G followed a little after 4 and then S text at 4:15PM and she was done early!! I went and picker her up and then once I got home I finished getting dinner together (crock pot cheesy potato soup and drop biscuits) and then we ate. Then we hung out until we started showers and then it was BED!!! I'm writing this and then I'm hitting the hay......I am exhausted for some reason!! But before I go I'm gonna share my 2008 Halloween album!!!
