TGIF!!!

For so many reasons!!! Today was another BUSY day!! Once I was up I didn't go back to bed!!! I farted around on the computer some and I got a shower. Got the girls off to school and got the boys up: fed them, packed their lunches and then packed some snacks for C and I. We had one more day at the boys school today! I had to be there super early so I just loaded all the boys in the van and off we went!! It was so hectic!!! Kids just everywhere, grabbing things and what not - it was driving me nuts!!! C had Chase and Elle to play with so he didn't whine at all, they were kind of rowdy though!!! We were finally done at the school at 12:30PM and then we came home and had lunch!!! I slowly started to feel worse and worse so I started a cupcake snack for tonight's activity, I wanted to get them done!! Of course I had to run out and get stuff to decorate them with, but even that was easier then making the snowmen oreo cookies I had planned!!! 

Once I had them done I went to my bed and there I stayed!! I made S get the boys off the bus. S made dinner for me (just mac & cheese) and she cleaned the kitchen for me!! I was so miserable!! I hurt every where. My throat was on fire. I was achy. I had a low grade fever (99.7), it as hell!!! C kept me company most of the night!!! The kids ate their North Pole cupcakes and watched A Muppet Christmas Carol on TV.  I kind of just laid around and then I put in the last Harry Potter movie, C brought his pillow in and fell asleep on my at about 8PM. All the other kids were up till 10PM, in fact I shuffled out at 10PM and told them to go to bed, S helped me with that too, and just as I crawled back in bed daddy came home!!! I was so mad (he should have left earlier, he KNEW I was super sick) because it took him 2 hours to get home and I needed help!!! So after I yelled at him I just rolled over and went to bed!!! So happy to put the day behind me!!

Wacky Weather!!

So we woke to like 60 degree weather today....in December!!! WTH!!! 

Once we got up and got going we got everyone fed and out the door!! I dropped C off and came home and cleaned the living room and ran the sweeper! I got caught up on some computer work. I got dinner in the crock pot (beef stew) and then it was time to go get C - no rest for the wicked!!! After I got him we headed to Mickey's for our lunch and then it was off to the school again!!! It was terrible - there was nothing for the kids to buy - no shipment had come in and the tables were BARE!!! I felt terrible. In fact we turned 2 classes away because there just wasn't anything for them to buy - one was Gman's class and that made me super sad - him too!!! I hung out till about 3:45PM and the shipment finally showed up but there was hardly anything in it!!! C and I left and headed home - I vegged for a bit and did some mindless web surfing and then it was time for dinner at 5PM, just after we were done eating Laura called and asked my opinion on going to Dollar Tree to get stuff and I said DO IT!!!! So off she went and spent about $300 bucks and got a TON of stuff for tomorrow!!! I jumped in the shower real quick at about 6PM and daddy got home at 6:30. S and I left for her concert - it was nice to go alone and enjoy the music with no interruptions!! Her and all the kids played wonderfully and we didn't get out of there till 8:50PM!!!

While we were gone daddy did tonight countdown activity with the four younger kids, making gluten free chocolate chip cookie!!! They had fun and they turned out delicious!! So happy the kids and daddy got to do this together!!!

I'm home and I just cleaned out my inbox, I'm writing this and then I'm gonna go crawl in my bed and snuggle till I fall asleep!!! I need a break!!! Hahaha!!

Happity Hump Day!!!

Man did we have a busy day today!! I swear I didn't stop moving from 6AM till 11PM!!! We were up early and getting breakfast and lunches for the girls! I got a quick shower and then it was time to get the boys up! We got them fed and lunches pack and then Gman, C and I were out the door by 8:15AM!! Gman had a re check for his pneumonia and Dr Katie proclaimed his lungs clear and him all better!!! Phew!!! Then we were back in the van and on our way to school! We dropped off Gman and then C and I stayed to help with the Santa's workshop again, only we were there from 9:30 till 4PM!!! It was long and hectic!!! 

We were short handed and some of the kids were being....well kids. At one point it was only me and another mom helping the classes shop and one mom running the register!!! Thank goodness the teachers from both those classes help us!! C was good - he got bored some and whine just a tiny bit but that's to be expected - hell I wanted to go home too!!! But he really was a trooper and was so good!!! At one point I took him to the potty and while we were there the fire alarm went off - it was a fire drill!!! Hahaha!! Poor kiddo - but I think he thought it was fun!!!

We were done at about 3:45PM and then we ran to Bilo to grab frozen pizzas for dinner! Then once home I got them in the oven and then started getting our activity for the night ready - making peanut butter blossoms!!! We ate and then made cookies!!! I let the kids done like 99% of the work and they had FUN!!! 

Then I had S start the kitchen. I jumped in the shower and R got ready for her concert! Then at about 6:40PM R, Gman, C and I left for the Jr High for her concert!! She did an awesome job and again the boys were really good!!!

R's art project is displayed in the glass case in the front of the school!!! WTG sweetie!!

 Poor C was so tired though.....he fell asleep about 8PM. R got done and we were on our way home - it was 8:45PM!!

 Once home we hustled everyone in bed and then I collapsed!! My body ached, my feet ached and I was TIRED!!! I relaxed for a bit and now it's like 10:30PM and I'm hitting the hay!! Another busy day on tap for tomorrow!!!

Can you say busy!?!?!

Today was the kid's first day back at school after our long Thanksgiving break and it started with the girls rushing around and almost missing the bus!! Once I got everyone out the door and on the bus I got C dropped off at school and then I headed to Wal Mart to pick up some cough drops - this cough is driving me freaking NUTS!!! I want it gone now!!! Then I headed home and I loaded the dish washer. Got dinner in the crock pot (chicken soup). Got the snack for tonight made (pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate and sprinkles) and then I grabbed a quick shower! 

I ran and picked up C and we came home! I got us both lunch, loaded those dishes in the dishwasher and packed C some snacks and water for both of us and then we headed out the door to the school! I helped all afternoon with the Secret Santa workshop and boy was that an experience!!! C was such a good boy, everyone said so and I was so proud of him!!! We were done at 3:45PM and headed home. I finished up dinner and we ate at about 5PM. I had to drop S off at the high school at 6PM for madrigals practice and then the rest of the kids and I came home and started watching The Santa Clause movie and eat our special snack!! 

Daddy got home at 7:15PM and I had to leave to pick up S. Then her and I ran to drop off my library books. To Goodwill to get shoes and a shirt for R for her concert tomorrow and then to Wal Mart to get milk and crackers for daddy!!! Once back home I made pizza crescents for the kids lunches tomorrow and now I'm laying on the couch typing this and as soon as I hit publish I'm hitting the hay - I am beat!!!
