Hybrid boy page

I finished this page on Friday. It's a digital kit (from 2010) that I printed out and cut mostly on my silhouette by Zoe Pearn who now has a paper scrapbooking company called Cocoa Vanilla Studios. Way back when Zoe was primarily a digital designer I was honored to be on her team and get all her goodies for free!! And even though this kit is almost 6 years old, it still rocks and was just perfect for this page of CJ's last day of preschool!!

Soak Up The Sun

Gah, I loved playing with this Carta Bella kit!! I always think I'm "OK" with thin paper and then I play with a Carta Bella Kit and I"m like "NOPE"!!! Hahaha!! This is Soak Up The Sun by Alisha Gordon from Carta Bella, loved it!! I've also used Liquitex modeling paste, a stencil from Heidi Swapp, Mustard and Teal Color Shine from Heidi Swapp, Clover Shop Front Alpha's by October Afternoon, Cork Stack by DCWV, and enamel dots from Simple Stories Say Cheese II, Recollections Cork, & Gemstones from The Paper Studio.

Echo Park

So I did this page ages ago and have just never uploaded it, pure laziness!! But I just love this kit by Lori Whitlock!! It's All About A Boy by Echo Park!! Love it, it was the perfect fit for this photo of CJ and Scarlett!!!

It was a pretty good Saturday!!

We spent most of the day outside mowing grass, weed eating, the girls used the hedge trimmers and cut down/trimmed lots of bushes and weeds!! The kids played with Scarlett. Swam in the pool. Playing baseball. Rode their bikes - T took CJ's training wheels off and he rode a two wheeler!!! We have to help him get up on the bike and give him a tiny push but once he gets going he rides so good!!! Then daddy finally used his old grill and made a fire pit for us and we roasted our hot dogs over it for dinner!! 

It was a great and productive Saturday!!!

Ahhhhh,

I slept in for a bit today and it was nice!!! Got up around 10AM and had some pizza for breakfast and then we did some cleaning - the girl's did their regular daily chores, T cleaned the laundry room because it had something stinking in it, the boys cleaned the rocks out of the drive way and swept it and I put some laundry away and cleaned/swept the living room! Then I made lunch a bit early and then we headed to the pool!! The kids and I went in while T ran to Dollar General for black garbage bags and then when he got home he came in the pool with us! We floated and played will almost 2PM. It was getting cloudy/gray and kind of windy/cold. Once we were inside and dressed the kids hung out watching TV. T watched stuff on his iPad and I cleaned my office!! 

I put all the school papers away and straightened up the closet. Then I swept and now I have a nice sparkling craft room!! I finished off the afternoon working on CJ's album and around 5PM I grilled out the brawts for diner! After dinner the kids watched some more TV. T worked on his laundry and played video games with the boys and I continued working on CJ's album!! Now it's almost 10:30PM and I'm gonna head to my bed room to read and then go to sleep!!

Last day of packing lunched HORRAY!!!

I'm so excited - I figured out that I packed over 700 lunches this school year - holy crap!! When I got up at 6AM I got all four lunches completely done and then headed back to bed! When I got back up at 7:30AM all I had to do was put the boy's stuff in their actually lunch boxes! Once everyone was out the door I cleaned my kitchen and then CJ and I headed out to the library! We parked and put our money in the meter and headed up the door - there was a sign the library was closed they were having an in service day! Boo Boo Boo!! So we headed to GH's and played for just a little bit, it was actually kind of cold! Then we headed home and had roll ups for lunch!! Then the rest of the afternoon was spent just hanging out watching TV and reading! 

Gman's teacher gave all the kids in the class a beach ball with everyone's name on it!! So sweet of her!!

Once the kids came home we needed to drop S off at the KCAC for graduation and then we came home and I made spaghetti and meatballs for dinner! Then we played outside till daddy came home! Then I left at about 8PM to head back to the KCAC to pick up S - I was early so I sat there and read! She was done just after 8:30PM and we came home! I climbed in my bed and read until I fell asleep!!

Hump Day!

T was feeling terrible this morning so once we were done getting everyone ready and out the door he headed back to bed! CJ and I headed to EP to help Laura clean out and pack up the PTA stuff in A7! 

CJ found this fake flower in A7 and put it in my hair for me, then he took this photo so I could see it!! Hahaha!!

We were there till 11PM. Then Krista invited us to GH's for a playdate so we headed there! We played till 1PM. Then CJ and I headed to McDonald's for lunch! Once home I started filling out CJ's forms for pre-k (Mrs. Bradley had given them to me that morning at the school). S stayed after school because she had graduation practice and so we went to pick her up after the boys got off the bus. Once we got her I took the kids to Dunkin Donuts to get a treat!! 

Thursday!

CJ and I ran to Wal Mart this morning to pick up some groceries! I needed a few things for the Kindergarten Spring Sing! On the way home we stopped at EP and went down to Mrs. Higbee's room and saw the baby chicks!! They were so cute. Then we came home and chilled but shortly after that something went wrong with either the router or the cable modem and we had no internet all day - I was crabby and so was C! Alyssa came home after school with R and they made popcorn and watched a movie! Then I took her home at about 6PM, after R french braided her hair for her for her dance pictures tonight, R did an awesome job!! Then I came home and was still in a foul mood as I cooked dinner - spaghetti and meatballs. I sent T a text demanding he bring me home a peanut butter banana fluffernutter and mini starbursts from Sheetz - he did! He got home at a little after 7PM and I let him take over!  

Rough morning this morning

- I think we are all just done with this school year and want it to be summer vacation! CJ came in my bed early!

Little man and Gman fought all morning long! CJ is still running a low grade fever! Called the doctors once I got the boys on the bus but since it's the same as what Little man has (sounds like it anyways), they want to give it one more day. CJ and I were busy all morning! We had to run to Wal Mart and I spent a ton of time getting paper work ready on the computer for my PTA meeting tonight! At one point after lunch CJ fell asleep in my chair and slept for probably 2 hours! Let my house at about 5:30PM to head to The Giant Eagle Express because that's where we were having the meeting since it was raining! We were there for 3 hours, but we got a lot accomplished!! Ugh - the PTA president thing is A LOT OF WORK!!! T got home from Ohio some time when I was gone - maybe just after 7PM. Once  the meeting was finally done I had to run to Wal Mart and get milk and pull ups!! Then is was home and bed for me!!

Happy Memorial Day!

Daddy left for Ohio and is going to be there all day through tomorrow! CJ wakes up and he still has a fever of 103.2! I drop S off at Memorial park around 9:30AM for a band performance and then I come home and start switching out the boys winter clothes for summer clothes and I start putting away all the laundry that has accumulated all week!! Picked S back up at 11:45AM and spent the rest of the day doing the clothes! Laura picked me up at about 7PM and we went to The Coney for drinks and to discuss PTA stuff!! We were out till a little after 9PM!!

Ugh it was kind of a weird day!!

I was kind of in a funk and a little bit of a bad mood! I got up and dealt with CJ - he is still sick and still running a fever of up to 104 without medicine in his system! I needed to make a menu and grocery shopping! I took CJ with me and that was a bad idea - he was whiny and it caused his fever to spike. While we were gone T and the kids cleaned up outside and they cleaned out my garage! Then T and S put the groceries away and went back outside. I spent almost the whole day working on my project life, I got week 19 finished! T went out and got us Domino's Pizza for dinner and it was pretty good. Then he went back outside and finished mowing. Once he was done we went to McDonald's and the kids got milk shakes while I got a hot fudge sundae. 

Then it was home and everyone (but CJ) got a shower and then it was bed time! I spent the evening watching CSI: NY while T worked on his laundry. It was almost 1AM when Tim and I went to bed!

So today was a pretty lazy Saturday!

I stayed in bed till after 10AM and it was so nice!! Then once I was up I worked on my project life! Daddy cooked lunch for us - he grilled out hamburgers. Then there was more scrapping! Poor CJ is sick - he is running a high fever and is complaining of his stomach hurting and being dizzy - I'm wondering if he had was Little man had a few weeks ago, mono!?!?!

I kept his pretty dosed up with Tylenol and Motrin all day! We were going to try and make it to the drive in, but CJ was just too sick! Then for dinner daddy went out and got us Domino's Pizza, it was pretty good! Then I sat in my office and watched Youtube video's and got caught up on this here blog!!

Totally lazy morning for me!!

I got up at 6AM and got the girl's lunches ready and then went back to bed. So when the alarm went back off at 7:30AM daddy let my stay in bed and he took care of the boys for me!! So lazed in bed all morning - I don't think I got out till maybe 9:30AM. Then I had cole slaw for breakfast and made myself so sick!!! I had pizza bagels for lunch - they were delicious!!

CJ started feeling real sick and started running a fever! Poor little man!! The kids came home from school and then I made dinner, I toasted the grilled cheese while S warmed up the chicken noodle soup! Then CJ and I spent the rest of the night in my bed cuddling! Daddy got home at about 8:45PM and then he put the boys to bed for me! Then I read for a bit more and then I hit the hay at about 11PM!!

Up at 6am

to pack the girls lunches and then back to bed - I didn't fall back asleep just laid around. Alarm went off at 7:30 and it was go, go, GO!! I had to give Little man and Gman showers and Gman and CJ were slow waking up! Then I made oatmeal for everyone and then jumped in the shower myself! Then I got myself dressed. Finished packing lunches and we were out the door by 8:23am! Got to the school and Laura and I started setting up. It took us till 9:18 and then parents started arriving!! Program started just after 9:30am and ran till almost 11am. Then it was snacks. Chrissy and I talked about L and Little man then it was time to clean up! CJ and I left the school at 11:30 and came home. We ate lunch. Went to the library. 

Returned movies and then came home! Once the girls were home I ran out to Dollar Tree and Michael's for a bit of "me" time!!! Then came home and talked to daddy on the phone a bit. CJ was fooling around in the living room and fell and smashed his cheek - he has a HUGE bruise and cried so hard. S and R fixed dinner, chicken tacos. After dinner the boys were being totally annoying so I gave showers at 6:30pm and they were in bed by 7:30pm. I then made the snack for CJ's picnic tomorrow and now I'm going to lay in bed and read and relax!!

Morning routine

- all by myself, it went fairly smoothly! 

Today is CJ's last day of preschool - it's just an outdoor play day! So I dropped him off and then headed back home to put the finishing touches on Gman's snack - dirt pudding flower pots! Then I had to drop those off at the school at 10AM. 

I met Laura in the parking lot and after I headed the snack off to Mrs. Coleman (the kids loved them) Laura and I chatted with Mrs. Bradley for a while and then were finally allowed to head down to A7 to get some stuff we would need for the 3rd grade party tomorrow! We left the school at 11AM so I had to rush home to throw together a lunch for CJ and then rush back into town to his school to be there for photos on the front step at 11:15AM! Once that was done we headed to the Thai restaurant to have lunch for Shari's birthday with Shari, Laura and Cari. Then we came home and chilled for a bit - I worked on laundry - until the kids started coming home. Once the girl's got home we did a mad dash of cleaning for an hour since Jenna was getting off the bus with Little man and we were watching her till 5:45PM for Laura! Once they were home we had snacks and then the kids played downstairs almost the whole time!! The girl's were trying to get ready - they even ironed their clothes and I made pizza for dinner! We started eating and then all piled in the van and left at 5:30PM. I dropped the girl's off at the Jr High, gave Jenna to Laura and then the boys and I headed to Dollar General to get some snacks to eat during the concert! We headed back to the school and hung out in the vestibule till the doors opened and then we sat through the concert (4th & 5th grade band/chorus) just to see S and R sing one song! UGH!! It was almost 9:30PM when we got home! The boys went straight to bed. R finished up some dishes and then her and S showered real quick and went to bed! I baked 2 dozen muffins. Then hit the hay after midnight!

Margarita Time!

Took CJ to school and I did a bit of grocery shopping. Came home and put the stuff away and then headed back to Zion to spy on CJ a bit! Then daddy texted me and invited us to lunch since he was still in town. We met him at Ruby Tuesday! After we ate CJ and I came home and I made some muffins for the red & black games tomorrow but I didn't buy enough packs so once S gets home I run to Bilo and pick up two more packs and come home and make them. Daddy got home at about 6:30PM and took me into town and dropped me off at Cozemuls - I was meeting Laura, Shari, Krista and Cindy for a girl's night out! We spent two hours talking and drinking margaritas!! Laura brought me home and then it was bed time for me!!

Morning 2 of flying solo,

but again I made and easy lunch and breakfast for the kids! Little man stayed home again today because his fever is still up in the 100's but that didn't last long. Then on a whim I took Gman and CJ's, both of their's was in the 100's too. I think Gman's was even 101, but I just dosed them with Motrin and sent Gman off to school!

Then CJ, Little man and I hopped in the van and headed off to CJ's farm field trip! We got lost and were almost late but I finally figured it out and we got there! It was so hot and so humid and so stinky!!! CJ loved it but I was miserable! Poor Little man stayed in the van the entire time (almost 2 hours). The highlight was that CJ got to see piggies and be the first one to ride a HUGE horse - he actually volunteered first - I was surprised!!! Then we came home and hung out for a bit. Then ran out and got the boys ice cream for Mickey's and a coolatta for me then to Giant Eagle to get my medicine! Then back home and I tried to work on laundry! The kids started coming home and I made pizza for dinner and then grabbed a shower. Then it was time for R and I to her band concert! I had S watch the boys so that I could go by myself. R and I got home about 9PM. Now I just baked a double batch (store bought pouches) of banana muffins for lunches tomorrow and now I'm headed to my bed to read and then fall asleep!!

Happy Mother's Day!

It kind of sucked!! The kids made me cards and I got small presents from the boys (flowers from CJ and a rock from Gman). T made me hot dogs for lunch and McDonald's for dinner! Whoopee!! I think I spent a lot of the day in bed!

If you can believe it I had another BUSY day!!!

Hahaha! Thank god it's Friday, I can't wait for two days of nothing having to get up early and not having to be somewhere or have someone somewhere! The morning started out normal - for the girls and the boys! However when I got up for the boys I checked my phone and noticed I had a text from H H - I was suppose to do the damn shirt!! CRAP!!! So I got the girl's info from Little man and printed out the transfers real quick. Then as soon as I got the boys on the bus CJ and I headed to Wal Mart to grab a blue shirt! We rushed home and I got the iron-on transfers on and thought I was doing good and in the clear until I took the first transfer off and I put her last name on upside down!! Mother of Pearl!! I spent the next 45 minutes trying to get the damn thing off - I tried everything!! I finally got it scrub off enough that I could put a black box over the messed up part and light blue letters for her name! So we ran to the school and dropped it off! Then we headed outside to watch the kids hop! We were there about 30 minutes and then Gman came out! We watched him hop and then we left because CJ was being a douche! We ran to Wal Mart and got him a pair of sunglasses and then to McDonald's for lunch. Then back to the school to see Little man. Ugh, it was so long!! It was inside because it was going to rain and there were like 400 people shoved in the gym! We watched him and hung out and watched the other kids, I sat with Chrissy and CJ and Braden played together. They were mostly good but Braden brings out the worst in CJ and makes him be bad. Then once they were done CJ and I both got free Rita's water ice!! The Jump Rope thing was almost done and they were drawing one last prize, the grand prize and all the sudden Mrs. Jack called Gman's name!! Hahaha!!! Little turd had snuck money in to donate and ended up winning the big prize!! Then we headed home! I sat around until I got Little man and Gman off the bus and then I went down and exercised for 45 minutes! While I was sitting around we got a call from the water company and out water is bad and we are on a boil notice - ugh! So after I was done exercising I took the kids to Mickey's for dinner! Then it was back home were we hung out for 2 hours till daddy got home at 8PM and he put everyone to bed because they were all grumpy and crying!!! Now I'm gonna go get in my cozy jammies and hit my bed too!!!

So today was even busier then yesterday, if that's even possible!!

Getting the girl's lunches packed and breakfast made was pretty normal and then when the boys got up I wanted to make sure I caught Gman before he went to the bathroom because I wanted to catch his p.e.e., well I got it and stuck it in the fridge. Then at about 8:05AM I started calling the office and I kept getting the "closed" message - UGH!!! Well we got Little man on the bus and them me and Gman and CJ in the van and headed into town to drop CJ at school. While waiting I FINALLY got through and they wanted him to have a appointment but we couldn't get in till 2:45PM. So that meant Gman was gonna have to go on CJ's field trip! So Gman and I ran back home to put his p.e.e. back in the fridge and for me to grab a tea and then we headed back to CJ's school! We walked to the library and the kids listened to like 4 stories and got a little tour of the children's library and then it was time to walk back to school. For some reasons the teachers didn't want to have a snack on the courthouse lawn - I was really bummed! So Gman and I headed to Mickey's to get a drink and then back to pick up CJ. Then we came home and had lunch and then hung out till we needed to head to the doctors! So we got there early and I took the boys into Wal Mart to get some granola bars for snacks then we headed to the Doctor's office! We saw Dr. Katie and she said Gman's p.e.e. was "clean" so there was no infection but she was stumped about the "goo", she thought it might be yeast, so she gave us an antibiotic cream and a yeast cream. But as we got to talking and we were discussing some of his symptoms she thinks he might have an urethral stricture - a narrowing of the urethra, so she referred us to a pediatric urologist at Children's Hospital! We go May 5th. It's funny because when Gman was about 2, I had him there for a suspected UTI and again his p.e.e. was clean but we discussed the stricture then too!!! So then we came back home and did the normal night time stuff!! As we had just come out of the doctor's Heidi called me and told me that one little girl in Little man's group didn't have a shirt and I offered to buy one and just make it, she was to just let me know. Then when I got home I had a message from the other little girl in the groups mom who also had questions about the shirt! Then when Little man came home he told me that S's shirt issue had been worked out so I forgot about it and then he brought home the other little boys shirt and I made it. Then Gman and I ran out to Giant Eagle to get his medicine and then it was home to cook dinner - chicken nuggets and beef ramen noodles! Daddy got home about just before 8PM and he put the boys to bed for me. Then I was in my bed by like 9PM and fast asleep!
