Birthday Lunch!!

Had a birthday lunch today at The Coney: Laura, Krista, Jenn, Amy, Kim and Chrissy were there. Kim gave me a card. Jenn gave me a card (with a $25 dollar Olive garden gift card in it) and Laura paid for mine and C's lunch!! We were there for about an hour and thirty minutes!!! It was a great time!! When I came home I baked 2 pans of brownies for the father/daughter banquet tomorrow and then Kim posted on Facebook for a volunteer to make a treat for the next day for school - so I volunteered! I had to pick Little man up from school at 3:15PM to take him to the orthodontist, we were in and out in no time and the doctor said he even though his teeth are still crowded he doesn't see Little man needing braced for a few more years!! Then Little man and I ran to Aldi's to get stuff to make rice crispy treat and strawberries and then we stopped at Michael's to get pink chocolate. Once home I made two pans of rice crispy treats and cleaned and cut 2 quarts of strawberries! 

Then I made tacos for dinner. I asked T to bring home a heart cookie cutter and then once the kids were in bed I cut the rice crispies into hearts and dipped them in pink chocolate!

Happy Halloween!!!

It's that wonderful day of the year again when all the spooks and ghost and goblins come out to play!!! Our Halloween started off just like any other school day: getting breakfast and lunches pack and then getting kids off to school. I did it alone though since T has had his boss all week and he was gone early early this morning. Then I got C dropped off at school and had to be back there by 9:30AM to help with their Halloween activities so I had just enough time to run and get some ice tea and change for the meter!! Once back and when I was in his class room I helped paint faces for all the kids: some of the other stuff they did was pumpkin bowling, stamping, ghost throw, play dough table, water table and pumpkin "pounding". C (and his friends) had so much fun!! Then the kids had snack, a store and then it was time to go on the hat parade around the block!! All the kids lined up and we walked up and around the block and then down Philly street: waving at cars and yelling happy halloween!! We stop at Senator White's building and he gave out suckers and the kids got his photo taken with him! Then it was back to school and we were done for the day!!!

C and I headed to Mickey's for our lunch date and then it was home to prepare for our halloween dinner!! I made cupcakes, pudding parfaits, witches brooms. I used my silhouette to put pumpkin faces on everything!! Hahaha!! I then had to pick Sydney up at 4PM and then once home I started the hamburgers!! The kids loved it and I had fun making it festive for them!!

Then daddy got home around 7PM and it was baths and bed!! Daddy and I are headed there too because we are BEAT!! Once more day and then a two day weekend with nothing to do!! Woo Hoo!!!

Well let's see,

poor T was up at 5am working on work stuff and he had to leave at 6:45am. He has his boss this week so he is super stressed!! But we made it through the morning and then once everyone was out the door I cleaned the living room just a bit and vacuumed. Then I went to work on making C's hat for his hat parade tomorrow!!! I decided to make him a dragon hat and I must say it turned out soooooooooooo cute!!! It's no where perfect but he LOVES it and that's all that matters!!!

Then I cleaned up my sewing mess and started working on my Halloween albums!! I made a HUGE dent into 2011!!! Then I decided to take advantage of a deal some one posted in my PL facebook group about free prints from Shutterfly, 101 free prints!!! So I spent the rest of the afternoon editing past pumpkin patch photos!! Then once Little man and Gman got home I took C and Gman to get their hair cut, they needed it so badly!! 

Just before I left though T text and he was on his way home, so he was going to be home for dinner!! Woo Hoo!!! Once the boys were done with haircuts I ran to Michael's to get some white ink that I needed and then we hit Giant Eagle to get S's medicine. Then it was home to made dinner (spaghetti/meatballs). After dinner my brother Jay called and he wanted to tell me he was moving back to Ohio, he quit his job and is going in to business with his buddy (flipping houses) and he will be back "home" in like 2 weeks!! Then we hung out in the living room watching TV while the kids took turns bathing and then it was bed for everyone!!! I finished up my photo editing and then ordered my photos, now I'm writing this and then I'm going to BED!! I might read for a bit, but we will see!! Busy day tomorrow!!

Blargh!!!

Today was worse then yesterday!! Hahahaha!! I didn't get to go back to bed because I decided the kids needed pancakes for their lunches so by the time I got them made and cleaned up the boys were up and there was no sense in going back to bed!! 

The devil lunch!!! Hahaha!!

I got everyone off to school and then ran to Dollar Tree to pick up a few things and then to JoAnn's to get another pair of skeleton gloves (because I gave C's to G this morning because his hands were cold) and then I went and parked in front of the school I walked up to the post office and mailed my swap cards out and then back to the preschool to spy for about 45 minutes! 

The little boy on the right in the blue shirt is C's best friend. He talks non-stop about his, it's adorable!! He is always saying "I love B!! He's my best friend!!!" *heart melts*

Then I ran home for about 45 minutes and then back to pick up C!! Came home and we had lunch and then I spent the afternoon working on my Halloween mini books!!! We had cowboy casserole for dinner and then S needed dropped off at school at 6:30pm for county chorus practice!! Came home and messed around online while yelling at the kids, trying to bath them and having a disastrous facetime with hubby!! I was (and still am) in a terrible mood and he has to take everything personal!! Of course I'm in a terrible mood, I'm stuck in cold ass PA with whiny bratty fighting kids and he's in sunny Cancun where everything is free and he has to answer to NO ONE!!! Blah!!!!!!!!! Time like this makes me wish I had friends that could come over and help me or at least keep me company in my misery!!!! Blah...........enough!!! Ok, so I managed not to kill anyone before we left the house at 7:45PM to pick S up!! Then it was in the house and everyone straight to bed!!! Then I sat down to write this and now I'm going to grab a bag of mini reese piece pieces that I was going to bake with but instead I'm going to eat the entire bag while I lay in bed and read my book!!! Hahaha!!! Later!!!

Pumpkin Patch Field Trip!!

Phew what a day!! So proud of the lunches I made the kids today, plus they loved them!! DIY Pizzas, pineapple and peanut butter pretzel bars!! 

After our usual morning routine C and I loaded up in the van but instead of going to school we went on his file trip to the pumpkin patch!! We were suppose to go this Thursday bit it's suppose to be terrible weather so his teacher called yesterday morning to let us know they moved it today, which was fine because it was a beautiful day!!! We found the place with little trouble and then we spent the morning (till 11AM) looking at pumpkins, walking around seeing the signs of fall, listening to pumpkin stories, having a snack and playing games!! 

Once we got home we had lunch and then crashed in momma's bed!! I was so sleepy, I finished watching GI Joe and then I was out!!! Thank goodness C is a good little boy!!! I slept until it was time to get L and G off the bus and then I fiddle farted around until 5PM and then we went to Mickey's for dinner!! 

Home at 6PM and I got the dough ready to make my graham crackers.

 Then I folded my white clothes I washed to day and then just tried not to kill anyone!! Not because they were bad (because they weren't at all) but because for some reason I have a horrendous headache!!! Then it was baths and brush teeth and daddy got home right at 8PM to help put the rats to bed!!! Now I'm just finishing up baking my graham crackers and then I'm hitting the hay!! Another busy day tomorrow!!!

Ugh

when the alarm went off I wanted to throw it out the window!! My bed was so snuggly!! But I got up and got the girls lunches going and hubby got them breakfast! Got them on the bus and headed back to bed which was a TOTAL mistake!! It was so warm and I was so content I really didn't want to get out of bed - all over again!! I told T we are going to have to stop going back to bed because it's torture having to drag myself out of it all over again!!! Got C in the van and to school and then I ran to Dollar Tree for some spices I needed and then to JoAnn's for some brown ink!! As I was headed home T called me and asked me if I wanted to head to Dunkin Donuts for a treat - of course!! We both had pumpkin pie doughnuts and small iced apple ciders!

Then T headed to work and I headed to C's school to spy on him!! 

Someone looks totally bored!! Hahaha!!

We got home and I read for most of the day and he watched TV and played his DS!! Little man and Gman got off the bus and we had to be at the high school to get S from band practice at just after 5PM. Came home and was going to get dinner ready but realized I didn't have any chicken broth - CRAP!! So PB &J sammies it was!!! R was coming home from Lutherlyn today and I had to be at the Jr High by 7:30PM to pick her up, I was talking to daddy just before I left and he told me that he saw two rainbows outside his store and then after I hung up and got in the van to leave and pick up R, I saw a rainbow too just across the road from us - it was so very cool!!

Hard to see but it's right behind the house going straight up and down!! It was so pretty!!

I got there at about 7PM and her luggage was already there so I got it and sat in the van and read till she got there at 7:20PM. Then we came home and the kids watched TV and I read till daddy got home at 9PM. Then it was bed for everyone!!!

First Day of Preschool!!

So yesterday was C's first ever day of preschool!! Wow....can not believe my baby is in school!!! It just seems like yesterday I was posting this photo and crying buckets because I didn't want any more babies!!! And now I can't imagine living even one single minute with out this amazing little boy!!! Here he is, he was very hesitant at first and was kind of clinging, but his teacher assured me that he was fine the whole time and was showing lots of independence!!! I am so very proud of her!!!
