What a great family day we had today!! We didn't get to
swim because it was actually quite cold, but we had fun in the house playing
and watching TV! We bought our first "dog" item for the new puppy, her first toy!!!
We had yummy ribs and brawts for dinner that daddy cooked all
day and then grilled up for us! The ribs literally just fell off the bone! Then
we headed out to Mack Park at about 7PM and got a great parking spot and a
great spot in the grass to watch the fireworks! We took the kids down into the
food "strip" and got them all a bag of cotton candy! Then we saw
Chrissy and she sat and talked to us for a little bit about the puppies! Then
daddy went down to the food strip to get him self something and he came back
with frozen cheesecake dipped in chocolate and rolled in nuts for me and him!!
They were delicious!!! He also brought the kids water and us some pop! The
fireworks started about 9:30Pm and they were wonderful!!! We all just sat and
stared at them!! They went on for about 30 minutes and then we were in the van
and on the way back home!!
