Happy Hump Day!

Such a busy morning/afternoon! Our morning routine was pretty normal and easy because I made the mac & cheese last night so I was back in bed quick! Then wasn't much sleeping though so I was up at just a little after 7AM and in the shower! Then the morning with the boys was pretty normal. T needed to leave by 8PM for work so it was just me and the boys after that! I got Little man and Gman on the bus and then CJ and I hit the road for my doctors appointment! We got there and got right in and saw Dr. D right away! He had my blood work and since I stopped dieting and exercising and gained back all my weight (50lbs), my cholesterol was back up again!! BOO!!! But he was happy I was back to eating right and exercising so he'll test it again in 6 months! Then we rushed back to town to met Krista, Chase and Elle at the library! The kids listened to a story, sang some songs and then got to plant a flower! 

Then they played for a bit before we left to head to McDonald's for lunch! Jenna met us there too and sat for a while with us! Then at about 1:00 PM it was time to go! CJ and I hit JoAnn's and Michael's and then headed home - it was after 2PM! Then the rest of the afternoon I worked on laundry and also worked on getting some paper work for the 3rd grade party ready! Then it was brinner for dinner (egg sandwiches) and then daddy was home by like 6PM!! After I helped got all the boys showered I messed around online a bit and now I'm writing this and then gonna hit the hay!!

Sunday - that's all I got!

It's Sunday!!! Dad and I laid in bed till like 8AM, I wish is was longer but my tummy was getting rumbly!! Once up I grabbed a shower and then made a shopping list! We woke up to sun and T got outside and snow blowed the drive way. Then I left at bout 9:45AM to run some errands! I went and got a tea from Mickey's first, then I dropped of the nebulizer medicine at Giant Eagle. Then it was off to Aldi's for the first leg of the grocery shopping. Then to Wal Mart. Once that was done I headed to Michael's to look for paper for the kid's valentines! I came up empty handed so I headed back to Giant Eagle to get all 3 medicines for the Gman and C. Then my last stop was JoAnn's where I scored some brown cardstock! Once home we had lunch and then chilled for a bit!! I then started Gman on his homework: he needed to decorate a heart for school. I sat at the table with him and helped a bit but he did almost all the work himself! 

Then daddy and I headed into our room where I read and he slept!! Hahaha!!! We were just having left over soup for dinner so no prep was needed there, we ate and then after dinner we got showers for the kids, let them watch some Lego Chimera before we stuck them in bed!! Then I crawled in my bed and read till it was lights out!!

What a busy Friday!!

First off I got the 4 bigger kids off to school (yay Gman got to go back!!) and then I started in with doing laundry (I am so behind!!) and cutting out all the turkey's I need for Tuesday (Gman's school party and 60 suckers for the kid's class treats). But I hadn't been working for more then 20 minutes when Kim sent me a PM asking me (and a group) of ladies to lunch at the Thai restaurant!!! I really shouldn't have went because I had a ton of stuff to do, but I did need to run out and pick some stuff up so I went anyways, and I'm so glad I did!!! It was so good!!! It ended up just being me, C, Kim and Kim's friend Lori, but it was great company, great conversations and great food!!! I had this grilled pineapple with chicken, fried rice, veggies, cashews, raisins and scallions!!! But before we headed to lunch C and I got all our running done, we went o Dollar Tree to get some stuff and the Giant Eagle and got Little man's cake!! Came home and started working on projects/laundry again!! Kids started getting home at 3PM and then 4PM and we had to leave the house by 5PM so I made them egg in a cup and sausage for dinner and then we hit the road!! Got R dropped off at the Jr. High. Went the high school and hung out for about 20 minutes till S had to be inside. Then me and the 3 boys made a quick pit stop at Dollar General to find some ponchos (because it was RAINING!!!) and then we headed into town to find a parking spot!! We lucked out and found one in front of C's school (the first place we looked and the last one in that section) and then headed up to 7th Street to see/hear R!! Her and the Spirit Band were providing the music there!! So we listened to her for a bit, then roasted some marshmallows. Drank some hot chocolate and then listened to R some more!!!

Once she was done we headed down Philly to find a good spot to watch the parade!!! We watched and cheered for S when the band marched by, then the kids got lots of candy and finally when the parade was over we headed towards the van!!! 

We picked S up at the school and then I took the kids through Mickey's drive through and got them french fries!! Then it was home and to bed with everyone!! Poor C was so tired he'd already fell asleep in the van on the way to Mickey's!!! Daddy got home after 9PM and I'm going to bed to read for a bit and then to sleep!!

Well I thought

today was going to be a pretty boring day, the 4 bigger kids at school. Daddy in Ohio. Mommy and C just hanging out, but as we were sitting at the table with morning eating Gman was coughing and I knew that I just had to suck it up and take him to the doctors, I mean the boy has been coughing for a month and it wasn't changing....so I called and they just told me to come at 9AM for the open clinic...so we got Little man on the bus and off we went!! We were the only ones there and we got right in to see Dr. Katie. 

She took so much time listening to Gman's chest...like 10 minutes and of course she heard crackling in the lower portion of the right lobe - pneumonia!! Man - poor kiddo, wonder how long he has had it - I feel like the world's worst mother because I have been saying for like 2 weeks - I need to take him to the doctors!! So we got a prescription for Augmentin. Nebulizer treatments every four hours and off school for 2 days!! Of course on the way home I called the school to let them know and when Gman heard me say he'd be off for two days he BAWLED!!! He loves school so much and I'm so sad he has to miss it!! So we ran to Wal Mart to pick up a few things and then to Michael's to get him so new stickers for doing his breathing treatment. Giant Eagle to get his meds and then home!!! The boys spent the day playing their DS's and watching TV and I spent the day trying out crafts for Gman's party next week!! I think I'm going with the turkey headband!! 
Then S got home about 3:10PM and is like "I need a white shirt for tomorrow".......... WTF!!! Thanks for telling me!! So I'm like I'm going now because I won't have a chance the rest of the day so you have to watch the boys and get Little man off the bus!! I ran to goodwill and found 2 shirts and a pair of black pants - pants were way to short and she bitched about both shirts - I GIVE UP!!! I told her I didn't care what she wore!! I made Spaghetti and meatballs for dinner (it made me sick ??) and now I'm in the office using the silhouette to cut some stencils!!
Tim called and he left at about 7PM so it will be close to 10 when he gets home - hoping I can stay up and see him!! So that's about it that happened today, I'm gonna finish these cut and then I'm gonna head to my bed to read!!!

So I thought today was going to be a pretty lazy day,

at least until a little after dinner time. After we got up and got the girls out the door Tim had to leave and head to Ohio to help with some pizza stuff so I had to get the boys out the door by myself, which wasn't a problem we did awesome. After I went back to lay down though I got a text from Krista that she and the kids were going to the library for story/craft time and would we like to join them, I said yes of course so there went our lazy morning!! I showered quick and got Callum dressed, we made a quick stop to drop off his preschool tuition and then headed to the library!! It was such a HUGE crowd, I swear there must have been 20 kids there - so different then when we go on Mondays!!! Callum was so shy, but he did sing a bit and then we made a craft, a turkey door hanger. Then he played trains for a bit and then we left. We got home and had lunch, I worked on some laundry and then I had to go and get Sydney from county choir practice at 3PM.

Mailman finally brought me my awesome roller date stamp!!!

Got home and got the boys off the bus and then I started dinner - just spaghetti and meatballs. Then at 6:30PM I had to head to East Pike for a PTA meeting and I took the 3 boys with me!! They were pretty good and we were there till 8PM. I'm the coordinator for Graham's class Fall festival and so that's gonna be an experience!!! Hahaha!!! These other mothers better not suck!!! We headed home and I had Liam and Graham shower real quick and I told Callum we'd get him a bath in the morning!!! I got them in bed and they went right to sleep - thank goodness, I was at the end of my rope!!! Tim called and he is in Grove City and  on his way home. As soon as he get here I am going to BED!!! Until them I'm off to my bed room to read!!

Last day

of our mini vacation from school!! Got up and made a bunch of snacks for the week, rice crispy bars, granola bars and energy bites. Then took C and G to the library for story time!! We learned about the letters V and W. They loved doing the craft!!!

Then we came home and had lunch. The rest of the day was spent just lazing around!! The kids were actually very good and played well together!!! I don't think there was hardly any fighting (if any). I made hot dogs and fries for dinner and then daddy got home in time to help with baths and put the rats to bed!!!

Hello Monday!! You can suck it!!!

Hahaha!! Ok, it wasn't that bad of a day really!!! T and I were up early and got breakfast for the girls and their lunches packed (egg salad sammies, energy bites, baby oranges - the boys got hard boiled eggs, one waffle left over from breakfast w/syrup, energy bites, and baby oranges) and then headed back to our bed!! 

After we got the boys going and on the bus C and I headed out in the rain to Goodwill to try and find R some boots for her upcoming field trip. Daddy hung out at home till he had to go to Little man's school for lunch at 11AM. C and I scored boots and shoes for R and momma scored two pairs of pants at Goodwill. Then we headed to the library for story/craft time - it was the letters M and N today!! 
While we were there I got a text from daddy telling me to call him asap he had good news, well I couldn't wait to leave the library to call so I just called then - his boss demoted a DM and gave daddy back two of his stores that he had given her - Indiana and Butler and took his farthest store - Uniontown - away and gave it to someone else!! So not only did daddy get his "home" store back he got an extra putting him at an 8 store DM - there are only like 7 of them in the whole company!! Woo Hoo!!! So happy for him and so proud of him!!! Then C and I headed home to have lunch!!! I got busy putting dinner in the crockpot - Beef barley Soup - and making cheese crackers for tomorrow's lunches! Then S text at 3:30 - she was done early but I couldn't pick her up just then because I had stuff in the oven so we had to wait till we got Little man and Gman off the bus!! Once home I got the drop biscuit whipped up for dinner and then we ate!! After dinner the boys played outside for just a little bit (30 minutes maybe) and then it was time to start baths!! Then I started making the ham and cheese pinwheels for lunches, but my mixer was being an ass and wouldn't knead the dough!!! Boo!!! So I had to knead it old school - with my hands!!
I finally wrangled the boys into bed a little after 8 and got to work on the pumpkin muffins I promised Gman for his snack day tomorrow!!! 
When I was almost done with them daddy finally came rolling in t he door!! I finished up the muffins while I sipped a mug of hot chocolate and then finally made it into my bed around 8:45PM. I relaxed and read for awhile and then it was lights out for me!!!

Lazy Day!?!?!

Started the morning off with L saying "We are suppose to wear pink today!", ummmmm we own like zero things pink!!! So I racked my brain and racked my brain and came up with letting the boys wear a pink felt rose boutineer!! So I dug into my craft stash and turned a piece of pink felt into two boutineer with the help of a CD, a marker, a pair of scissors and a hot glue gun!!! Super mom to the rescue!!!

Then I decided the rest of today was going to be a lazy day and I swear I wasn't going to leave the house, then I got an email that said October 5th was world teacher day (tomorrow) and i decided I'd make up a small/simple goodie for L and G's teachers - I'd send it to school tomorrow with the boys.....until about an hour later when I realized tomorrow was Saturday - Crap!!! So I still wanted to do something so I browsed pinterest quickly and found a little saying you stick with a coffee gift card. So then I searched the silhouette store for a mug/coffee cup gift card holder cut file and I found one!! Cut that out quick with just some papers I had on hand and then C and I ran out to Dunkin Donuts to get $5 gift cards and a doughnut for our selves (I got two because just as we were checking out they brought out fresh pumpkin pie donuts!!! Yummy!!!). Stuck them in the cards, sealed them up and went to drop them off at the school!!!

Then we finally kind of did get to be lazy!! I spent the afternoon working on laundry and finishing up some Halloween decorations, then when R got home I had her and C decorate!! Our house is spooktacular looking now!!! Well at least the kitchen and living room!!! I whipped up some pumpkin doughnuts real quick and we enjoyed those as a snack and then we just had homemade pizza for dinner!! Daddy got home at about 7:30PM and him and I stayed up till after 11PM because SV had an away game. When she text daddy went and picked her up, then it was bed for everyone!!

Happy Monday!!!

Not!! Bleck, another week started and we started it in our usual way!! Early!!! Lots of breakfast and lunches packed for everyone (PB&J, apple slices with cookie dough dip, mini pumpkin muffins and apple sauce)!! We got the kids on the bus and then C and I had to get S to the hospital for her barium swallow by 9AM. We waited for a bit and then it only took about 30 minutes, we had her back at school by 9:45AM.

We came home then for a few minutes to see daddy (he was taking the morning off because he had to go to lunch with G at school) and then we headed to the library for story time. We learned about the letter "A" today and did a cute little (simple) craft.

He played on the computers a bit and with the kitchen stuff a bit and then we ran to Michael's, where I bought NOTHING!!! Hahaha!! Then it was home for lunch!!

I climbed into bed about 1PM to read and the next thing I know I was sleeping!!! I think something woke me up just before R got home at 3PM. Then I got the boys off the bus at 4PM and headed to the high school to pick up S from band practice. Quick stop at Bilo to get corn muffin mix and then home to make dinner: Chicken Noodle veggie soup and corn muffins.

I helped R with her dishes after dinner and then started getting the boys in the shower at 7PM. Daddy got home at about 7:30PM and I warmed up dinner for him and he ate. Got the boys in bed at 8PM and then made up my grocery list for tomorrow and then I made granola bars (cinnamon oatmeal raisin) and there honey cinnamon snack crackers!! Then it was into bed with my book!!

Hot for Cookies!!

Do you know have the Van Halen's song "Hot for Teacher" in you head like I do now!?!?! So sometime last week (maybe) I bought this delicious creamer called Hot for Cookies and it is too die for!!! So freaking delicious!!! I use it in my hot chocolate and it's the best little treat ever!!!

I found it at Wal Mart so run on out and find it!!! And you too can sing "Hot For Teacher" all day long everyday!!! Hahahaha!!! Daddy is still in Ohio so I had to do all the school stuff this morning!! After I got all the kids out the door C and I headed to the library for story/craft time!! It was the letters "C" and "G"!!! He made a cute caterpillar and ghost craft!!!

I had to get S picked up from school at around 4PM from band practice. Then for dinner I made veggie beef soup with homemade drop biscuits! I got everyone is the bathroom for baths/showers and daddy got home just in time to help put everyone to bed (8PM)!!!!

Trick or Treat

I finally have all the photos of the treats I made for the kid's classes edited.....Praise. The. Lord!!

These were for G-man's preschool class!! I thought they turned out so cute!! He loved drinking his mummy juice!!!


I just used a plain brown lunch bag that I traced a pumpkin face on and tied with a green ribbon!

R and Little man's treat bags! The base of both theirs was the same: Small thing of skittles, Halloween pencil, Halloween eraser and stickers. Then I added one different thing to each of their bags!



The Skittles: They were suppose to be all one color, but then I knew that if someone else made these and my kids got the all lemon ones I'd feel terrible for them (and probably a little upset too) so I just decided to keep the flavors all mixed together!!!



Poor R just got a plain old white lunch bag!! I had bought treat bags but her noatebooks wouldn't fit and I was not going shopping again so i worked with what I had on hand!! *lol*


R's special Treat: these Notebooks were 3 for a $1 at Dollar Tree!! So cheap!!


And all I did was cover them with scrapbook paper that I got at JoAnn's for .25 cents on sale!!! Yay!!! I love cute and CHEAP!!!


Little man's baggies, the skittles didn't really fit in the bags either (it ripped out the neck every. single. time.) But again I was not going out shopping because I just wanted to get. them. done. So I made it work!!!



Little man's special treat: BUBBLES!!! Again these were like $1 for nine of them at the dollar tree so.....so cheap and so fun!!! I hope the kids liked the ookey spooky Whitch's Bubbling Brew!!!




And last but not least was the treats I made for the kids for the day we went trick or treating to the zoo!!! Most years they don't get a ton of stuff....and I nixed using these ideas for the classroom treats.....so I wanted them to have a few extra treats to have for Halloween!! They loved them and all of them had most of both of them gone before we even got to the zoo!!! *lol*
