Happy Hump Day!

Such a busy morning/afternoon! Our morning routine was pretty normal and easy because I made the mac & cheese last night so I was back in bed quick! Then wasn't much sleeping though so I was up at just a little after 7AM and in the shower! Then the morning with the boys was pretty normal. T needed to leave by 8PM for work so it was just me and the boys after that! I got Little man and Gman on the bus and then CJ and I hit the road for my doctors appointment! We got there and got right in and saw Dr. D right away! He had my blood work and since I stopped dieting and exercising and gained back all my weight (50lbs), my cholesterol was back up again!! BOO!!! But he was happy I was back to eating right and exercising so he'll test it again in 6 months! Then we rushed back to town to met Krista, Chase and Elle at the library! The kids listened to a story, sang some songs and then got to plant a flower! 

Then they played for a bit before we left to head to McDonald's for lunch! Jenna met us there too and sat for a while with us! Then at about 1:00 PM it was time to go! CJ and I hit JoAnn's and Michael's and then headed home - it was after 2PM! Then the rest of the afternoon I worked on laundry and also worked on getting some paper work for the 3rd grade party ready! Then it was brinner for dinner (egg sandwiches) and then daddy was home by like 6PM!! After I helped got all the boys showered I messed around online a bit and now I'm writing this and then gonna hit the hay!!

Feeling like Crap!

Ugh, so I totally woke up feeling like crap!! My head was killing me and my neck was stiff!! I through together the girl's lunches and then I headed back to bed!! When my alarm went off at 7:30AM, I just couldn't get up!! I just couldn't!! So T told me to stay in bed and he'd take care of the boys!!! So back to sleep I went!! He got the breakfast and got their lunches pack (although all he had to do was make the sandwiches) and got them off to school! I was finally able to "wake up" at about 9AM, but I laid in bed the rest of the morning watching Bones. Then I decided at about 11:30AM to jump in the shower and then CJ and I headed to McDonald's for lunch - oh yeah CJ is still sick so no school for him, although I was sure he was getting pink eye, but no goopy eyes this morning so I didn't call the doctors!! 

We ate and then I needed to tun to Wal Mart for brownies and pull ups! Of course today is the first day of spring and it's freaking SNOWING!!! So tired of this crap ass cold weather!!! On the way home - CJ started complaining that his left ear was hurting bad, especially when he chewed (I had given him some gum), ugh!!! So I called the ped's office to see if I could get him in, we got an appointment for 2:15PM. So I quickly tried to get my brownies baked, but I just didn't have enough time and I had to pull them out with still 10 minutes to bake - SHIT!!! So I covered them and we headed out the door! CJ has an infection in the left ear and they tested him for the flu - it came back negative but Katie didn't really believe it - she really thinks he has the flu - again!! So we rushed home and I put my brownies back in the oven and hoped for the best!! Then I got ready and headed out the door to run to bilo to grab some lunch meat for the kids for dinner! I came home, dropped it off and headed to the school to help with the father/daughter banquet. T left work at 5PM  and picked up CJ's medicine and then came home. We were done with the banquet at 8PM and then Laura, Cindy, Krista and I headed to Brunzies for drinks. We sat and chatted and drank till 10:45PM. Then it was home for me and straight to bed - I was beat!

Well hello Monday....we met again!

Boo!! I seriously did not want to get out of bed - it's still so cold and so snowy and all I want to do is snuggle in my bed!! But up I got and T got the girl's fed and I packed their lunches and then we both headed back to bed! But T couldn't sleep too long because he had to be out the door by 7:30AM for a doctor's appointment - so when my alarm went off at 7:30 it was just me and the boys!! I got them oatmeal for breakfast and then I just tried to keep them moving through the morning while I packed lunches! I got them on the bus and then I climbed back in my bed and read till I had to leave the house at 1! CJ was a good boy and watched TV, played and played his DS. Then after lunch we headed out to EP because I was helping with the book swap! It was so boring!! I think it's just cause I'm in a grumpy mood so the adults/teachers and the kids were getting on my nerves!! It was so hot in the room and my feet were hurting. CJ brought a DS that went dead in like 5 minutes so he whined the whole time. Finally we were done at 3:30PM and Jenn and I busted ass to get the books cleaned up and down to the library!! Then I headed to McDonald's for a frappe (cause boy I needed it)!!! Then it was home to help Gman with homework! He had to color a picture of his favorite food, he did his two weekly alpha sheets and then we did his sight word flash cards. Then I went in my room to read some more before making dinner - I had actually put a roast in the crockpot at noon so all I did was make some buttered noodles and some canned green beans! There wasn't much complaining - HOORAY!!! Then daddy came home about 6:30PM and we started getting kids showered as we sat in our room folding clothes!! We got EVERYONE in bed at 8PM and then I climbed in bed and read for a bit but I was whooped so it was soon off to dream land for me!!

No school today for the kiddos!!!

It's president's day but that's not why we don't have school - it's parent/teacher conference day and for the first time in my kid's school history I opted out of doing conferences today!!! But that didn't mean I got to sleep in, C is still like seriously sick and it was time for to take him to the doctors!!! So I loaded him and Gman in the van and headed out the door - man was it freaking COLD!!! Like -7!!!

So we got there and got right in to see the nurse practitioner (I think) and the gave C a strep test and a flu test - man he did not like the flu test (swab up the nose), he cried and cried and cried!!! One good thing is that his lungs are CLEAR!!! So we had to wait around a bit for the tests to come back - the strep test was negative and the flu test was POSITIVE!!! So we just have to ride it out and lots of liquids and lots of rest!! After the doctors we ran to Wal Mart real quick to get some more supplies and then we headed home, C and I literally spent the rest of the whole day in bed!!! S (bless her heart) made lunch and dinner for the rest of the kids! Daddy got home at about 7:30PM and we got the boys showered and then he got them into bed! I read for a while and then it was off to dream land for me - I was not feeling like 100%!!!

So it must be Monday -

Gman needs to go to the doctors!! Ugh!! I swear this boy just finished a strong medicine last week and he's snotty and coughing AGAIN!!! So we were up and got the girl's fed, lunches packed and out the door! We tried to head back to bed but neither of us could really get back to sleep!! Once we got the boys up we really just had to get Little man "ready", once he was on the bus, T went to work and Gman, C and I headed to the doctors!!! We got there and put our name on the list for the walk in clinic and we were in to see Katie super quick!! We actually saw the student physician's assistant again first and then Katie. His lungs are clear but man he is one big ball of SNOT!!!! Even though he was running a little bit if a fever last night she don't think it's anything that needs antibiotics (they did a strep test too), so she prescribe a nasal spray, Flonase, and he has to have one spray in each nostril once a day and I have to call Katie back on Friday to let her know how he is doing!!! She said he could go back to school today - which was nice and he was thrilled - but I didn't pack him or lunch or put his bookbag together because I was sure he was staying home!!! Hahaha!! So we rushed home and I packed his lunch and through his book bag together and dropped him off at school! Then C and I ran to WalMart to pick up so stuff and then to The Dollar Tree to get a balloon and then to McDonald's for a "birthday" lunch get together for Braden! Amy and Alicia were there and so were Krsita, Elle and Joshua. C had fun playing with Elle, but he didn't really play with Braden or Alicia!! Then we had to run back to Wal Mart because I forgot washer fluid and I needed brake fluid because now for some reason my brake light is coming on!! Ugh!! Finally we headed home and got to chill for a bit!!! Little man and Gman got to stay after school today for games and a snack (Pay to Play Relay) so I went out and picked them up at 4:45PM. Then I came home and made pancakes for dinner!! Then it was time to get the kids showered and give Gman his first nose spray and then it was bed time for everyone!!!

So what can I say about today, it kind of sucked!!!

Our alarm went off and I seriously did not want to get up, I think I am just running myself ragged and I'm not sleeping well at night so therefore it's making it harder for me to get up in the morning!! But up I got and got lunches packed and T got the girls fed and we headed back to bed. Back up at 7:30AM and it was rush, rush, rush!! Got kids fed and Gman's lunch packed (Little man was staying home today) and then got all the breathing treatments done and all the boys dressed!!! Threw on some yoga pants and thankfully T offered to stay home with Little man while dropped C off at school!! Came home and cleaned the kitchen and cleaned up my inbox a bit. I started some laundry and then it was time to go get C. While I was sitting there waiting Mrs. Mauk called and Gman was in her office with a headache, earache and low grade fever (99.7). UGH!!! Oh but before that I forgot that T called shortly after he left for work and his car was leaking gas - Buggy's can't get him in till like Thursday and it's going to cost like $600 bucks!!! UGH!! He can't drive it so he had to stay in town!!! Ok back to the school calling, I called T had him call the doc's while I picked up C and then off we went to EP to get Gman! Our appointment wasn't till 2:15PM so home we went!!! I baked peanut butter blossoms while the boys played with play dough. I also worked on some more laundry!!! At 1:45PM off we went to the docs!! Got right in and Dr. Shoe came in to see us, no ear infecting (I knew it), but he was wheezing and had a sinus infection!! UGH!! I swear to god if one more person gets sick I'm gonna FREAK!!! So we picked up another nebulizer (a penguin) and headed home to get my purse (I forgot it - ACK!! I hate that!!) and then picked up daddy so that he could sit in the van with the boys so I could get tylenol/advil from Wal Mart and then the RX form Giant Eagle! Then it was home to wait for S to call to pick her up from her play audition!! She finally called at 5PM and off we went once again!! Then it was home to cook dinner (shells/ragu/meatballs) and then after dinner we did part of our craft, upcycle bulb ornament, but we ran out of time because we had to get showers and give breathing treatments!!! Once I got the boys in bed I sat in my office and made 8 ornaments for the boys teachers - silouette and glitter ones. Now I'm writing this and as soon as I'm done I am going to bed!! I am kind of whooped and I just want to cuddle up in my bed with my pillows!!!

Last Monday before Christmas break, WOO HOO!!!!

Ugh it was tough getting up this morning, I seriously just wanted to crawl back in bed. Maybe because it was a totally crappy night - T was up with Little man like 3 times - he was crying and belly aching all night because his ear hurt. Then him and C were up at like 5AM watching TV in the living room - sheesh!!! T herded them back to bed. We got the girls fed and out the door and headed back to bed! We got back up about 7:30AM and got the boys fed, dressed and lunches packed! Little man was crying again because his ear hurt but he didn't want to miss school because they were having a cooking class all day, he was also scared that he would start crying in school and kids would make fun of him!! I told him, if his ear starts to hurt just raise his hand and ask to go to the nurse, then if he cries no one will see him and I'll come get him! C and I hung out till lunch, I made him some gingerbread play dough to play with, and then we headed out the door to run a few errands, visited Daddy at his store. I got home and at about 2:15 (right when I was leaving to pick up S), Mrs. Mauk called and Little man was complaining of ear pain and his temp was 100. CRAP!!!  I called T to see if he could pick up S and take her and that's I go get Little man. I tried the Dr. office but there phone just rang and rang and then went to a message that they were busy due to high call volume. Then T called and his car wouldn't start, CRAP!!! So I hurried and picked up Little man and then picked up S, told T to keep trying the office and to get us an appointment. T called and finally got the car started, told me the office said just to stop in as soon as possible, so I told him to just go in town and park by the dermatologist office and I'd drop S off and in the mean time I'd take Little man to the doctor's. That left R at home by herself and to get Gman off the bus if T didn't make it home in time!

We got the office and got right in, still wheezing a bit and RAGING ear infection (right ear), the worst Dr. Shoe said he'd seen in a long time!! So amoxicillin for 10 days! All while this was going on T and S were waiting and waiting to be called back - her appointment was at 3:10PM and it was after 3:40PM before she was even called back!! Also R got Gman off the bus and instead of going through the garage like I told her she went out the mud room door and locked her and Gman out of the house - in the cold and snow! Then T came home and he didn't even have his key because he had given it to R that morning to get in after school!! Sheese!! Thank goodness were got home at about 4:15PM so they didn't have to wait outside long!! T had to go back to work and I need to get medicines pick up and thankfully I had put beef soup in the crockpot so all I did was make some noodles and served the kids, then I headed out the door to get the meds and finally back home after 6PM. I was so whooped and really didn't feel like doing out activity and didn't think we really had any time so I told the kids we'd just do two tomorrow!!! Then I headed to my room to drink a mimosa and watch the new Percy Jackson movie on blue ray! After it was done I watched Pacific Rim till I couldn't hold  my eyes open any more and then it was off to dream land!!

What a day!!!

It started out with me waking up and having nothing to pack in the kid's lunches - I totally scrounged together a PB&J sandwich, some pineapple, some energy bits and an apple. We got the girls out the door and once the boys got up (I was int he shower), both Little man and C said they didn't want to go to school because they didn't feel well!! Ugh!!! So we got ready and then I left with those two at about 8:20 (because the roads were COVERED and the snow was still coming down) to head to the doctors for their "open clinic" at 9AM. 

We got there and were seen by Dr. S, both boys are wheezing (Little man worse then C), in fact when Dr S heard Little man cough he said that sounded like an asthmatics cough!! Little man was so bad that they gave him a breathing treatment right there in the office, it helped him lots. 

So both boys are on albuterol every four hours for 10 days!! Today was pay day and I was suppose to get out Christmas shopping done but I was getting a late start!! Daddy met us at Giant Eagle at about 10AM, Little man's RX wasn't ready so we headed home. I left daddy with the boys and I headed out to pick up the medicine and bring it back home. Then it was off to get me lunch since I was STARVING!!! Then finally it was time to start the shopping!!! I hit Ollies (nothing there), Dollar Tree (wrapping paper and stocking stuffers), Michael's (art stuff), Wal Mart (toys and clothes), Mall (Kmart & Aeropastle) and finally back to Wal Mart to get frozen pizzas for the kids dinner!! Then after dinner I went back out to get some groceries and R a dress for the Christmas Dance on Friday. Finally back home - I am BEAT!!! Such a long day and I'm still not even done Christmas chopping - BOO!!!! Tonight the kids were suppose to make buckeye's but I just didn't have it in me and daddy refused to even try so daddy let them eat Oreos and watch Christmas movies!! They still had a great time!!!

I just cleaned out my in box and now I'm gonna go get some jammies on and snuggle down in my bed!!! Maybe I'll fall asleep quick!!!

Happity Hump Day!!!

Man did we have a busy day today!! I swear I didn't stop moving from 6AM till 11PM!!! We were up early and getting breakfast and lunches for the girls! I got a quick shower and then it was time to get the boys up! We got them fed and lunches pack and then Gman, C and I were out the door by 8:15AM!! Gman had a re check for his pneumonia and Dr Katie proclaimed his lungs clear and him all better!!! Phew!!! Then we were back in the van and on our way to school! We dropped off Gman and then C and I stayed to help with the Santa's workshop again, only we were there from 9:30 till 4PM!!! It was long and hectic!!! 

We were short handed and some of the kids were being....well kids. At one point it was only me and another mom helping the classes shop and one mom running the register!!! Thank goodness the teachers from both those classes help us!! C was good - he got bored some and whine just a tiny bit but that's to be expected - hell I wanted to go home too!!! But he really was a trooper and was so good!!! At one point I took him to the potty and while we were there the fire alarm went off - it was a fire drill!!! Hahaha!! Poor kiddo - but I think he thought it was fun!!!

We were done at about 3:45PM and then we ran to Bilo to grab frozen pizzas for dinner! Then once home I got them in the oven and then started getting our activity for the night ready - making peanut butter blossoms!!! We ate and then made cookies!!! I let the kids done like 99% of the work and they had FUN!!! 

Then I had S start the kitchen. I jumped in the shower and R got ready for her concert! Then at about 6:40PM R, Gman, C and I left for the Jr High for her concert!! She did an awesome job and again the boys were really good!!!

R's art project is displayed in the glass case in the front of the school!!! WTG sweetie!!

 Poor C was so tired though.....he fell asleep about 8PM. R got done and we were on our way home - it was 8:45PM!!

 Once home we hustled everyone in bed and then I collapsed!! My body ached, my feet ached and I was TIRED!!! I relaxed for a bit and now it's like 10:30PM and I'm hitting the hay!! Another busy day on tap for tomorrow!!!

The morning was pretty much same old same old, except R was leaving for her field trip today to Lutherlyn and had to be at the Jr. High between 6:30Am and 6:45AM. Thankfully daddy took her!! Once we got everyone off to school daddy had to go to the doctors today for his check up! C and I just hung out all day, I think we ran out for a a few minutes but I can't remember what we needed to pick up!!! Crap - my memory is terrible!! Daddy called me later and let me know that he was fine and healthy and the doctor wasn't worried about him!! I didn't have to go pick S up from band practice so that we so nice!!  Oh now I remember, C and I had to run to the library to pick up a book that I had put on reserve - World War Z - I came home and started reading it and it was kind of lame!! Daddy got home late (as always) and I got everyone bathed and in bed at the usual time!!

Such a slacker!!!

I suck when it comes to keeping this thing updated!!! Man I am a very neglectful blogging mommy!!! Let's see, what's been happening in my neighbor hood?? The kids and I had a nice time at my parents house Easter weekend!! The bunny was very good to my kids and brought them lots of little "toys" and games and not much candy!!! Only one little milk chocolate bunny (which was promptly hidden when we arrived home). What a good little Easter Bunny!!! ;-)

The bunny also hid them Easter eggs (filled with pennies and jelly beans) all over grandma and grandpa's house. They had so much fun hunting those!!! I think there still may be one floating around there some where. Unless Uncle Jeff got into that one!!! **lol**

Church was nice, but that is where our trip started to go down hill!!!! About 2 weeks ago, on one of our really nice days, the kids were cleaning up the yard and coming into the house. R was complaining to DH that her leg hurt and she wanted carried. We thought she was fooling and kind of brushed her off. Well after dinner as we were laying around the living room, we noticed R limping on her right leg. Well she couldn't straighten it or flex her foot or put weight on it with out screaming in pain!!! She said it hurt behind her knee. The front of the knee was fine and we could touch it, but the back of the knee was slightly swollen and we couldn't touch it with out causing great pain. We figured she pulled or strained a muscle while playing outside!!! So we sent her to bed and figure if it was still bad in the morning I would call the doctor.

Well it was fine in the morning, but I kept her home from school anyways. Just to be safe and to not put any more strain on it!! Well all was fine with her until Easter Sunday. Now to preface this all the kids have had "colds" (coughs and snotty noses) for about a week. During church R lays down and falls asleep on my mom, I didn't thing anything of it because of said cold!!! After church we sat there for a bit talking with my niece and ex sister in law. Well when it was time to go, R couldn't walk on her leg. The left one this time!!!! **ACK** As the day progresses it hurts her more and more and my poor baby girl is scooting around on her butt to get from place to place!!! She is not in pain unless she tries to stand, walk or if you touch her knew or try to straighten her leg. She also has a small red rash on her right leg, only a few dots!!!

Well finally at 4:30PM I start loading the van, because I really want to get her home. I have know idea what's wrong with her and it was scaring me a bit. So I finally get the van loaded and everyone in it and on the road by 5PM. I drove straight through and we got home about 7:45PM. I carry R up from the van and she gives her daddy a hug. We pulled her pants up to check out her knee and that weird little red rash now covers both her legs from the knees down!!!! **ACK**...........**DOUBLE ACK**!!!! Her right ankle is also swelling now and has a really big red dots on it.

So I am like, I think she needs to go to the ER and DH agreeed. So we are back in the van and headed to the ER by 8PM. Well they are baffled and keep asking if she injured it. I keep telling them "NO". I told them about it happening before and that I thought she might have then, but I know she didn't this time. She walked into church on it and an hour later she couldn't even put slight wight on it!!! They took her for x rays and gave her an IV port. They were very nice and kind and she got coloring books and crayons and Popsicles. She was such a trooper. She only cried a little bit when they put the IV in and only whined a bit and I think a lot of the was out of tiredness!!! We mostly laid there in her bed and watched Rosanne **lol**

After a checking her blood and u.r.i.n.e., the doctor decided that it wasn't anything bacterial, but viral and came back with a diagnosis of Henoch-Schönlein Purpura, which basically an arthritis that settles in the joints of the hips, knees and ankles and they think it's caused by a virus. And that funky weird red rash??? It was actually all the little capillaries busting in her legs!!!! **AAACCCCKKK** That is the one "danger" of it that it can cause the capillaries in the intestines and kidney's to break and cause permanent damage!!!! **SCARY**!!!! And the trouble is the kidney damage can take a while to show up. But it's been a week and the "rash" is gone, which her Dr. said is WONDERFUL!!! Usually the rash progresses up the whole leg and on to the b.u.t.t.o.c.k.s. and then takes about 2 to 3 weeks to disappear!!!

So the plan of action is that R will have monthly u.r.i.n.e. checks for the next six months to make sure her kidney's are functioning fine and then we should be back to normal!!! So that's whats been happening around here. I was gonna share some pages but I am p.o.o.p.e.d., they'll have to wait till another day!!!! Have a great one!!!
