Merry Christmas Eve!!

Ugh, this stomach bug can go to hell and DIE!!! After C's 1AM wake up he slept for the rest of the night. Gman however was up off and on till 5AM. Although he only puked once he was up with the feeling of puking and stomach pains! Poor R was up off and on puking all night and it continued all though the day!! T made a run to Wal Mart in the morning to get some food and some presents for me for Christmas. Then once he was home I ran out and got some presents for him!! I brought home Mickey's for lunch for the kids and the 4 younger ones didn't eat much and in fact R puked all her's up!! I spent from noon till 4PM locked in my room wrapping the present and during that time T made 2 trips out to get a replacement present for Little man and made ham for dinner!! I'm still feeling like death - still no actual puking but the stomach pains and constant nausea are really taking their toll on me!! R is miserable and is just laying in bed moaning with pain! The rest of the kids are being really good!!! Finally it was dinner time and the ham was so good, the potatoes not so much! Boo!! Then we gathered in the living room and the kids opened their exchange gifts and then the jammies that daddy and I got them!

Then we spent the rest of the evening watching White Christmas and then it was off to bed and for the first time ever all the kids went right to sleep without one peep!!! They were all exhausted!!! Daddy and I only lasted about an hour more, I laid in bed and he played Santa. 

Then I took some photos and we were in bed by probably 9:30PM!!

OMG, what a day!!!

It started at about 3AM with Little man waking us up vomiting!! Remember me saying we'd regret going to my inlaws!!! Yeah!! He was up again at 5AM puking and then we were all up at 6AM, T and I laid in bed though as the girls gave the two younger boys cereal for dinner. I was feeling fine until I tried to get up and then it hit me!!! Nausea, stomach pains and diarrhea!! T had to go to work but he was sick all day too!!! He came home about 2PM and just kept puking and puking!! Little man laid in bed all day. I laid in bed all day and as soon as T came home he laid in bed all day!!! It was freaking horrible!!! R was an awesome helper all day and took care of Gman and C for us!! I finally got out of bed at 4PM and ran to Wal Mart because S needed pads and we needed something for dinner! I got chicken nuggets and fries, then it was back to bed for me!! As the night wore on C started complaining of his stomach hurting and I knew he was going to get it next!!! He fell asleep on me at about 6PM and slept for almost 2 hours! We finally talked him into his bed at about 10PM, but he wasn't in there more then 30 minutes when he came in the bed room crying because his tummy hurt so bad and then he proceeded to puke all over me, himself and our bed!! Poor guy!!! We got him back in his bed but then he was up again at about 1PM puking and Gman got up then too and was complaining of his stomach hurting!!! As I was sitting on the bathroom floor rocking them R got up and ran to our bathroom puking!!! UGH, it was such a terrible night!!!!

Up bright and early

on this first day of Christmas break, alarm went off at 6AM. We rushed around and got last minute things pack, gave the boys a breathing treatment and cereal for breakfast. Got everyone in the van and were pulling out at 7:25AM, 5 minutes ahead of schedule!! The trip to Ohio was good and all the kids were excellent. It rained like the whole way, but that's ok we still enjoyed listening to Christmas music!!

We only stopped once and it was going great until just outside of Boardman when T hit a big huge puddle of water!!! We immediately lost power steering and all the sudden the van was over heating!! The alarm was dinging so loud I was like "Pull over......Pull over"!!! He did and got under the hood and found that the belt on the tension pulley had slipped off!!! CRAP!!! We had zero tools in the van and wasn't sure if we should call AAA and have the van towed or what. So T called his dad and asked him to bring him some tools, but all he showed up with was some channel locks, WTH!!! So my awesome hubby basically fixed the van with an umbrella, a snow scraper and a pair of pliers!!! We sat there for almost an hour but everyone was so good!! T got the belt on and was covered in grease but we headed to my parents house still!! We got there and he washed up and changed clothes and my mom washed his dirty clothes for him!! Then we had lunch (lunch meat, cheese and salads) and the kids played and played and played!!! They had tons of fun!! We stayed until about 6PM and then headed to my inlaws, a move we would later come to regret!!! We got there and found out that everyone within the last day or two had been sick with the stomach flu - AWESOME!!! Assholes could have called us and told us before we showed up!! We ended up having lunchmeat and cheese for dinner too. Then they wanted to open presents! The kids got about 5 gifts each - not to over the top but half of the boys gifts were ones we'd already bought them from "Santa" so I guess I'll be taking those back! I got a blanket, soap and hand cream. Tim and I got $100 cash from his mom and dad and I got $25 bucks from Dale. We thought we'd have a nice night with just us and the inlaws, but NOPE!! Here same TJ with his 3 kids, god I hate that!! Why can't they just stay away for once and let my kids have some time with their grandparents with out having to fight for attention!! Then T put the kids to bed and we had to run out to Wal Mart to get an air mattress so I'd have something to sleep on. Then it was nighty night!
